Default Is this time travel for real?

I was going to post something on my ideas on time travel soon because im writing a book and wanted some peoples opinions but this just popped into my sight and i had to mention it i mean i can't get if this is credible or not especialy with the below quote.

Okay I havent had time to read it all but i think i've read enough i have to go now but is this site reliable?
Second time travel can't effect us right? I believe in the multiworlds theory and only the time traveler would be effected by this and once he's back in time there is no way for him to get back to ours. I'll explain this later i've done serious thinking over it and started a book on this but this article just struck me as bizzare but if time travel is capable by the Everett interpritation it would have no effect at all as it would be a different branch of time for his quantum events not ours.

Even this story chronicling the "fire and jelly-like creatures" which inhabit our atmosphere?

The ironic part is that "Pravda" means "truth."

Scarier still that the story I posted above is from the "Science" section.

#-o myself, because I clicked "Yes" too fast. I need to slow down and read a little more carefully. Thinking the question was lacking the word this...

I'm time traveling right now!

This is completely ridiculous! Do not be so credulous. Everyone knows that the CIA is the only agency allowed to operate outside of the USA.

thank the great dancing monkey!
Well from the noted accuracy of pravda budha probably was a dancing monkey... im glad Pravda is unreliable they would have killed my story

I actualy have a cunning way to stop the description of the time machine i'll post the theory behind the story on another thread, personaly i find the concept a clean one without the problem of 'what if' questions. Its going to be the main story in my "Three books of time travel". One story has already been written in short but im going to extend it as its more of a comedy concept based on something Einstein said and its called "The slowest man in the universe". One problem is its on my other hard disk which may have been corrupted but i sent a copy for someone to read so hopefully i wont just have the description of one book

thats true but "Unknown fire and jelly-like creatures live in Earth's atmosphere". I mean it was kind of believeable when it was said about jupiter but i think we would have hit a few of these... "creatures" with the amount of flying metal we have in the sky every day.

Time travel... maybe, huge fire creatures and im a monkey.

Of course time travel is real, I do it at the rate of 60 minutes/hour...

Is that the sort of time travel you were talking about?

I managed to overclock all the clocks in my house last night and am now getting 67 Minutes per hour!

One extra hit of the snooze bar for me! :P

Please think about the following'#-o':

1) What is the "time" you read on a clock?
2) The Universe is described by four fundamental dimensions, what is the difference between space and time ?

Think about these answers:

2)The difference between space and time is that space can be easily explored and time''...who knows. Second attempt: the difference between space and time is the one described by special relativity''. Now, take the Minkowski metric of the flat space-time of special relativity and rewrite it in Euclidean form. You will discover that a 4-space should exist, then conclude that:

1)The clock is your odometer for your motion in the 4-space.

Interesting ?

Default A Special Relativity

My Special Relativity

A brother of mine,
Escaped into time,
And went off to Alpha Centauri.
He returned to the past,
In a relative blast,
But I was long dead, we're so sorry.
