When your stock in trade is predictions of doom, you're going to need something negative to focus on no matter what happens, even if Bozo the Clown had won as a write-in.

Still, one would think that the proprietress of a Doomsday site would have spent the time to write something at least semi-timely and topical for each possible outcome- in advance- and then put up the appropriate selection.

This is mighty sloppy work, even by the standards of the genre.

It does help a bit in sorting out the "cynical huckster or genuinely delusional" question WRT Zetatalk.

I can state one thing for sure. The US military does not look to Gore as its Commander in Chief. Bush is very well respected across the military.
