OK, so I logged in to zetatalk to see if Nancy had come up with anything to belittle the disaster in Sumatra, and...nothing! That's very un-Nancy.

She's mentioned it in her "Signs of the Times" section. That's it so far. I'm sure she'll be gloating about it on GLP and elsewhere soon enough.

I have a suspicion that she will post it on GLP first. A couple of times 'bathrobe nancy' beat her to posting it on GLP, and Nancy got upset.

I think she posts it on GLP before her own site so no one can parody it before she posts it.

It's a sure bet she'll spend almost an hour going on about it on the next Lou Gentile show.

That is, if she can get on GLP! (Please see some of the threads chronicling the changes at GLP.)

She has several threads going at GLP now, so I think that she isn't having any problems getting on.

well My guess is its definatly a Px event

----
I further guess that ever 3rd close incounter is a BIG 1
and this 1 is a 3rd

I would think {were it possible 4me to be in Geol}
that the 3rd sequence could be sequenced
maybe using DNA of Ice Cores {link later}

So my guess this BIG 1 may really be a BIG 1
and even split Earth into 2 which means Fourths {maybe} N/S E/W ?/?

oh well never mind back to DNA?

Looks like all the other posters are making up for her in volume. Ick. In the past twelve hours or so, I've seen it blamed on

1) American/Illuminati "weather control" devices
2) The Kursk launching a nuke at the sea bed*
3) Planet X (duh)
4) The hand of God
5) Mother Nature (as a malevolent being, no less)
6) Meteors

* I think this is the most tasteless. A lot of soldiers died on the Kursk, but does that stop the nutjobs? Of course not.

I thought the Kursk and its warheads was raised? I remember they couldn't get the bow section but it didn't seem like there was much left of that part anyway.

Here in D.C. I've heard the earthquake blamed on U.S. military bombing in Afghanistan.

http://www.mindfully.org/Nucs/Russia...k-Recovery.htm

From what I've gathered from a quick look, the torpedos and missiles were in the bow and not recovered, most of what they recovered were the remains of those in the stern. There was a compartment where the remainder of the crew would most likely have been, but because of issues with diving suit bulk, they could not be reached, so they were left interred there.

Being in the DC area, I haven't heard that one, but if I do, I'll be sure to render the moron spouting it unconscious.

I had a feeling that when news of the tsunami hit the papers, the woowoos would jump all over it.

Why, oh why can't these folks realize that sometimes blank happens and the only thing you can do about it pick up the pieces or, failing that, leave it the heck alone?

I heard someone say that the Jews did it.

Really, they give us WAY too much credit. It is not possible for humanity to cause a tsunami like that WITHOUT using nuclear warheads. And if we used enough nuclear warheads, all the water between the epicenter and Sumatra would have been vaporized.

okay, I've been keeping this to myself for weeks now, and I just can't take it anymore.

I did it.

that's right. I'm really sorry, but I was having a bad day. (which I'm sure isn't much more of an explanation for why than these woo-woos will have.) how? oh, I couldn't tell you that. I mean, bad enough that I know, right?

I also faked the moon landing.

sure, I wasn't born yet, but that doesn't stop me.

wow, I feel better for having gotten that off my chest.

OK, now here's my 2cent's worth. Earthquakes and volcanos have been caused by the manmade electromagnetic weapons AKA "scalar interferometry" technology which nobody but the Russians and the Japanese Mafia know about; the latter who will use it on the US in 2007 to destroy our powergrids). Ladies and Gentlemen, Tom Berden the woo-woo of the year for your perusal http://www.prahlad.org/pub/bearden/scalarvocanos.htm (Can't find an emoticon for what I'm feeling after reading this!)

From that site: "Scalar electromagnetics restores certain equations which were thrown out along the way to "make things simpler," "

and then developed and used by terrorists to twat poor, third world countries apparently.

Nope this fella just doesn't get it done in this case.

[soapbox]

The Kursk conspiracy theories really cheese me off. Most of the crew died quick, but those poor SOBs in the ninth compartment died cold, lonely, and abandoned by their so-called leaders, whom were more interested in reviving Cold War paranoia and covering up their incompetance than they were in rescuing their countrymen. As a (former) submarin
