She does pump out some really strange ones, doesn't she?

I'm been reading her 'predictions' for about two years now and they get wilder and wilder.

She wants attention - lots of attention. However, I don't think there's something 'wrong' with her. She's got some convoluted understanding of science and the world and thinks everything she spouts is correct.

Compare her to Hoagland, McCanney, et al and she's basically the same as them all. She thinks she's right and everyone else is wrong or involved in some giant conspiracy to squelch her 'truth' about the world and the future.

If it wasn't for the internet, where would she be? No where.

On second thought....maybe she is 'off' in some way.

I guess the Zetas weren't enough to convince us. Now she's dragged out Edgar Cayce (who said it would be all over by 2000, but she neglects to mention that.) Anyway, according to this quote, we have within 3 months to the "pole shift":Signs of the Times #1302
Edgar Cayce´s prediction about Earth change activity in the South Seas also goes on to state that activity would coincide with activity at Mt. Etna. Within three months of these events you could expect the pole shift. ... Edgar Cayce most certainly did predict this Tsunami. He also said that a major sign to watch for, following this, was Mt Etna in Italy becoming active the same time as a volcano in the Caribbean. Yesterday 3 volcanoes in that area also became active.
Well I haven't heard of the 3 volcanos (did anyone here?). Also Etna is ALWAYS active http://www.volcanolive.com/etna.html Quote: Dormant periods at Mt Etna are extremely rare.. Sigh. :-?

I'm just a layman, but the things she describes sound like textbook schizophrenia to me. Taking an unwrapped Starburst fruit chew as a sign from aliens that you're the chosen one is a pretty good indicator of the condition.

regarding nancy and her mental health or lack thereof :

are any of us actually qualified to make a diagnosis ? esp based on what we have which IMHO is what nancy wants us to hear / read

she may be insane , but so far we can only be certain that she has published reams of delusional claims , but she may not even be delusional in a clinical sennse - do we have evidence that she actually believes her " zetatalk site" to be true

and finally - remember , crateris < sp > got banned for calling some woo2 " an idiot "

PS : none of the above should be taken to indicate i agree with nancy in any way

So if the windstorms are caused by a sudden jerk of the Earths' crust, wouldn't anyone standing where this jerk occurred be immediately displaced in the direction that they were going before the earth under thier feet decided to abruptly change direction?????

There are sixteen volcanoes in the West Indies - of those sixteen:
Saba - 1636 (last eruption)
Quill - 400 AD
Liamuiga - 160 AD
Nevis Peak - unknown
Soufrière Hills - 2004
La Soufrière de la Guadeloupe - 1977
Morne aux Diables - unknown
Morne Diablotins - unknown
Morne Trois Pitons and Micotrin - 790 AD
Morne Watt - 1997
Morne Plat Pays - 1270
Montagne Pelée - 1932
Qualibou - 1766
Soufriere St. Vincent - 1979
Kick-'em-Jenny - 2001
Mount St. Catherine - unknown

http://www.volcano.si.edu/world/region.cfm?rnum=1600

The only active Carribean volcano shown in the reports is Soufrière Hills in Montserrat.

http://volcano.und.nodak.edu/vwdocs/...s/current.html

The only way she could come up with the number three is to extend the Carribean into Central and South America.

Nope. Which is why I specified that I'm simply a layman, and "the things she describes" match what I know of about schizophrenia.

I'm not saying she does suffer from this disorder, and I'm certainly not calling her insane. From my perspective, though, she does seem to have some problems.

I'm amazed she didn't tie Mt. St. Helens into her "sign", maybe she forgot.

A little comic relief from Firesign Theatre here (not that any thread concerning Planet X really needs any, you understand...):

Vegeta, do not direct-link big images like that. Just post a text link using the [ url ] tags. Otherwise, it throws off the display of the forum, and not everyone wants to download those big pictures.

Not to mention the kite thing is a bit old.

"Magma Slam"??? Where does she come up with these? The last time I heard inventive dialogue like hers was the aftermath of a Cheech&Chong concert back in the daze of my misspent youth...

And she's found another BB to spout her bovine digestive effluvia on...what happened, someone revoke her Internet Travel Permit for G(u)LP?
Sadly, there are folks on that board who (at first glance) seem to be gullible enough to believe her...

It took you how long to figure that out? I knew she was a woowoo from the first time I logged on to the BABB. Oh well, I guess we figure these things out at different rates. Don't worry about it.

BTW, does anyone else thing "Magma Slam sounds like a good Pokemon attack? "Charizard, use Magma Slam!"

mick, there are a lot of folk with a real problem wandering around out there...but as long as they're not physically dangerous to themselves and others, no one can do a darn thing about it.

Note I said "physically dangerous" -- that is not the same thing as 'not making any sense'. If it was, Her Liedership would definitely be locked up...trouble is, I can just about guarantee you that about half of us would be too, for one reason or another.

We can't save her, but we can debunk her Zeta©®@þ, teach the values of critical thinking and The Scientific Method™, and prevent the spread of Mental Malaise.

Face it...somebody in this world has to be the proverbial Bad Example.

Better her than me... [-(

Too late! It has already happened, except Nancy grossly underestimated the amount of the flip!

Here is evidence from the Zetan's super-secret self-stationary satellite* (5S) located 23,000 miles above the Great Australian Bight/South Australian Basin. As with all advanced civilizations in the universe, the Zetans of course use Customary units.

As you can see, it was a cloudy day south of Australia, but clear for the astronomers at the South Pole. Some unfortunate person now has to be tasked with rewriting all those names, since now they're upside-down.

*This is the Zetan's Alternate Telescopic Platform (ATP) satellite, which is fixed in its own reference fame. Meanwhile the Earth (and everything else) revolves around it (except Nancy, who is in her own, separate universe).
