This part: "US is where tourists are being expelled now because the soles of their shoes are burning off regularly" is incorrect

Well, it appears to be the same scenario as Planet X, only this time it's a "galactic superwave" thingy that's heading right for us. How do they know this? It appears that this *knowledge* has come from "lucid dreams", Hopi prophecy and of course everyone's favorite, ETs! Snip:

Quote:
The galactic superwave, which was more than likely about halfway here when the last major event hit, will simply obliterate life if someone does not step into the mix. My approach has dealt with the information given to abductees over the last fifty years, as well as the search in history for the thread that explains this. The answers as down to earth. "They" are here for the event - and, as was said to one abductee that was shown a horrific looking sky...
Hmm...it also appears that we will need to *make our own gravity* in order to avoid this calamity:

Quote:
and Finally - in the spirit of "It's Life or Death to MAKE YOUR OWN GRAVITY - to avoid being blown away by the Solar Compression wave
The sky is falling! The world is ending! We must take action! ETs please save us! Oh, and BTW...send us your $$ and we'll show you how to avoid it all!

I'm pretty sure monks can't become invisible and fly, either.

Wait a second, wasn't that a plot for one of the Star Trek movies? The crossover one with the old cast?

They were comparing that photo to one of the milky way.
Apparently it's this portion that's connected to that photo:

Quote:
"According to a legend told by the Hopi Indians, the present world civilization is not the first to populate the earth. Before this one, there were three other "worlds", each terminated by a global catastrophe. They call the present world cycle the "Fourth World", and claim that it too like the others before it, will one day come to an end. They say that this ending will be heralded by the appearance of Saquasohuh, the Blue Star spirit.
Since the cores of distant exploding galaxies are observed to have a bright blue star-like appearance, it is reasonable to expect that the core of our own Galaxy would have a similar appearance during its explosive phase. So the legendary appearance of the Blue Star could be referring to an explosion of our Galaxy's core.... Several hundred years after the first appearance of the Blue Star, earth observers would have become aware of lighting effects resulting from the Superwave's passage through the galaxy's central buldge. Sychrotron radiation emitted by the Superwave's cosmic rays, would have illuminated the dense gas clouds in the Galaxy's nucleus to create an oval luminous form around the Blue Star...Dense clouds of dust obscure visible light coming from this region. However, during its bright active phase, some light would have penetrated. This frightening spectacle may have appeared to ancient inhabitants as a gigantic punishing "Eye" in the sky, the entire form occupying about a 16 degree field of view, or about 32 solar diameters. The "iris", would have a diameter of about, 4 degrees with a brilliant light emanating from its central pupil--the Blue Star."

Default Tibetans can fly...

didn't anyone see "The White Ninja"...classic. Anyway, I love that picture....very crude, but I like it. As for the wave thing, anybody surf, perhaps if we make a planetary size surf board, we could go on a hellava ride.

Actually we have nothing to worry about, since, when correctly (i.e., non-Cornell) interpreted relativistically, the "wave" isn't moving at all!

Now just to figure out a way to slow down the Earth's moving toward the "wave"... :-k

I live out here among the Indians and these are just fairy tales the grandparents and parents make up to tell the children. These stories are like our “Alice in Wonderland” stories and other fairy tales. In these modern times these “old Indian legends” now include stories of flying saucers and other modern stuff.

Also, it’s a proven fact that anyone, anywhere, can make up a totally new “Old Hopi Indian Legend” and post it on the internet, and within 5 years more than a dozen other websites will have that same story posted on them.

True.

Plus the wildest, most unbelievable "fairy tales" tend to come from the northeastern part of New Mexico.

We are very proud of our fairy tales out here in New Mexico. They get quoted all over the world. We’ve fooled more Northeastern Anthropologists and Tourists than any other ethnic group. Our Roswell story is quite famous.

I "agree" with the Star Trek comment - often these stories seem to come from fiction.

Another possible example:

Forgive me for not remembering the title, but I "remember" a book of short stories by Larry Niven - one of the "known space" books.

In it, the hero finds out after a FTL trip to the centre of the Galaxy, that the core has all gone nova in a chain reaction. The blast wave (radiation...) is travelling outwards and will sterilise the Galaxy.

The Pupeteers (mysterious uber race) then run away (not FTL, as they think it is too risky).

So, someone reads that story. Ten years later they remember it, but not its' source - and voila, old Hopi legend?

Cheers,

Dark Star?
