BTW, that's quite a publication. The article is listed under "Technology Articles"

I'm afraid to click there, lest I get infected by woowoo cooties. Could someone who's brave enough sum up the article for me?

It's so ridiculously hilarious,; quote:
 According to researchers, the Federation of the Universe representing all the 88 star constellations will officially visit earth in 2012 and reveal themselves. It will bring an end to all UFO cover-ups in various countries. And: According to some, the human civilization has finally reached a level when the earth can officially become part of the Federation of the Universe. (Whew, that's a relief!). And finally: There is a genuine attempt being made to protect our civilization. The earth will be made ready to understand who we are, where is our origin and where is out future(Aren't you elated they can tell us all this?)

Let me get this straight. There is a Federation of the Universe that was created using the star constellations as seen from earth? Sounds like earth is a little full of itself.

Sounds a bit Geocentrist to me. Hmm...*Federation of the Universe*... does this mean we automatically get warp drive?

It's a good thing we figured out the 88 constellations on our own. I'd hate to commit the faux pas of complimenting the Tauran representative for his lovely Hyades cluster if it actually belonged to another Federation delegate.

My bold

They want an order and mo panic among people.
I would rather have Mo panic, its much better than Larry or Curly panic.

The earth will also be exposed to possible dangers to our planet that we do not even perceive. Emergency evacuation plans will be created in case of an unseen and unperceived calamity like what happened to Mars millions of years back.
Gosh no, we wouldn't want what happened to Mars. Everyone, please proceed calmly to the evacuation slides. Do Not inflate your lifevests till you have exited the planet.

India Daily is put out by some guy in New Jersey with a thing for Bollywood movies and woo-woo notions. It's frequently quoted on GLP.

Knock yourself out. I expect appropriate referencing and quarterly checks for the licensing fee.

If I decide to quote you, rest assured that your quarterly check will be for the same amount as my quarterly government disinformant check. 8)

WTF? Drugs are bad, mmmkay? #-o :-? ops:

How so? We don't have colonies on the moon, let alone a warp drive. Someone's been hitting the Star Trek.

Quote:
The earth will be made ready to understand who we are, where is our origin and where is out future
Who we are: Human. Duh.

Where we came from: The primordial soup, some billions of years ago.

What our future is: We won't know until it happens. History, like evolution, is not a teleological process.

I agree with you guys. The writer of this article is simply a few tacos short of a fiesta platter.

Now if I could only find the Dilithium Crystals on E-Bay, I'd be set.

Well, if you hurry to Baja there may be a few left (sorry, only low grade), provided the ETs haven't snapped them all up by now!
