[prophecy]And so it is written that the work of man will look upon the flaming rock and man shall be taught.[/prophecy] Yeah, we'll be taught by a miss, a collison reuslting in the path of the comet crossing ours, or a successful mission. And the you know, the vehical is in space already, and if it near misses or hits, it would definately be within eye-shot of the comet... 8-[ I am now Nostra-hip-us, i guess... Ok, really, I think the mission will be a success and we're going to get a ton of data on comets. --htx

Great new data and the Washington skies will magically clear meaning that the Great Dob will not have been dragged onto the deck in vain. If there are clear skies here, the unfortunate choice of dates will probably result in some twit shooting off sky shells and the light screwing up the seeing.

For some reason all i can think of is that old BBC sitcom, Dad's Army and the inimitable Private Fraser's catch phrase.

I voted for 1, but part of me really, really, really, wants them to miss, though I think it's the same part that watches F1 for the crashes.
