What took him so long....?

Hoagland jumping on the ID bandwagon simply confirms what I already know - Intelligent Design is a pseudoscience, through and through.

UGH!

Darn! I didn't see this thread until this morning. Then again, wouldn't have helped me much as I'm not a paying member at Coast to Coast.

So, were humans designed by God, ET or a collabortion of some type? Anything about this up on his website yet? I'll go and take a look. Yeah, it's referenced there but nothing specific (he is selling a video, though). However, I suspect RCH will attempt to use ID for all it's worth!

I only heard the last hour or so. Hoagland thinks that life began on Earth almost immediately (which I'm not sure is true) and was seeded by a "lonely alien intelligence" that wanted some company. Non-commital on whether or not that intelligence is "God". There was some other goof on there saying something about the letters of ancient alphabets having creative power - I missed his fuller explanation, but even his other guests weren't buying what he was selling.

It was enough to make the Discovery Institute burst a blood vessel.

. . . And you know, that almost makes it worth it, all by itself!

Wow, apparently, it's not cheap to buy what RCH is selling!

I forgot to mention that Hoagland also invoked the "Hyperdimensional Physics" nonsense a number of times. A perfect match for Intelligent Design, I suppose, since nobody seems to know what either of them really means (even Hoagland himself).

It claims to be hosted, or assisted, or something, by a former CNN anchor. Anyone else figure they know how that became a past job?

Ah, but "Hyperdimensional Physics" is Hoagland's own catch-all, er, I mean, Theory of Everything, so it stands to reason that he is an expert on everything from Death Star moons, through hurricane enhancement and steering technology, to intelligent design.

He has yet to meet a subject he can't ramble on for hours about.
