Default Re the other link to the cloudy sky image

Actually a link was indeed posted (yesterday, Apr 1) on this board to the 'cloudy sky' Pic. --- However it has *NOT* been deleted nor does it vary in any way from the 'new' Image!

For the curious you'll find it under the "PX Pictures: Forgery? Hmm..." Thread.

At last check the post containing he link was 6 posts from the 'bottom' of the thread.

The poster (Greenhalgh - whom, BTW, I *sincerely* take to be a solid citizen of this forum ) prefaces the link with:

"Oh, and here's a 'sighting' from the UK. Just one thing? Where's PX?"

*WHERE INDEED* ;-) --- Apparently um... (Working on 'polite'...) interpretation of a calendar exceeds the reach of the cognitively challenged px proponents --- But say what the h*ll!!! They're fools *EVERY* day of the year (the 15'th of next month being the apex, of course) ;-)

Very Best Regards
Sarandon

Here's a link to the thread you mention:
http://www.badastronomy.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=4483

What's interesting - and may be what tez was referencing - is that if you click on the jpg links Greenhalgh provides, you get (or, I got) an error message: "The page cannot be found." Which means the pics are not at the location the browser has been told, and is an indication they have been moved on or removed from the server.

Is it possible tez thinks this means the BA has deleted them?

Yea, apparently the guy who posted the pics removed them. He believes they weren't PX at all. Funny thing is that Nancy still has them on her site as a reliable sighting... I thought she'd seen PX herself? Does she not know what it looks like?
