Default Bad...umm...weather control?

Here is a fun little article about a former ADA, now a farmer, in Colorado who bought several anti-hail canons at $40,000 each. He thinks that the sound waves they shoot skyward can destroy hailstones and save his crops from damage. Well, I'm glad he isn't an ADA anymore, anyway...

I'm interested in these since big cats are seen around here every once in a while. How much and how do they work?

Well you think he's bad for thinking they stop hail, what about his neighbours claiming they stop the rain too?

They use quantum fluxumization to negatate the tigermatic chi interaction with the surround aether.

Tigers aren't that spiritually delicate, and they can kill you before they succumb to the negative aura. For the ultimate in safety, buy my anti-tiger stones. They are designed to be applied with a double-barreled 16 ga howdah pistol (Purdey recommended). Tigers are protected, so I cannot explain to you how well these stones work. Just trust me, when the tiger has jumped on your elephant, you want the real deal.

Have any of these farmers spent time reading about climate change, shifting weather patterns, etc? Here in Maine, we are getting winters with little or no snow, torrential rains in the spring, warmer average temperatures - it's nuts. I'm not surprised it has been dry there since the former ADA bought his hail cannons - it's been drier and wetter than normal lots of places in the past few years. Probably the worst thing that could happen is that they get a court order to make him stop firing the cannons, and then a disastrously wet month or two rots everybody's crops. They'll blame him for that, too. The biggest shame is that he got suckered into buying the anti-hail cannons. He could have bought my anti-hail garden gnomes for half the price, with no need to pay for acetylene or electricity.
