Default Coast to Coast Debate with Nancy Lieder, May 13 2003

Folks, I have confirmed the "Coast to Coast AM" interview about Planet X for May 13th, at 11:00 p.m. Pacific Time (2:00 a.m. Eastern time May 14). Go to the C2C website in the next few days for more info, and to get a list of stations that air the show (the station in Ottowa, Canada has it online).

Yup, sock it to her BA! No mercy! She wins more brownie points with the listeners the more she goes on that show so maybe you can at least make some of them see sense!

You should be able to listen live through the Ottawa station.

Is Nancy going to be on this one or is there still a plan to debate her about a week after the 15th?

I was kinda hoping for a May 16th or 17th type date. It certainly would give her a bit less room to run.

Ah, a sticky in action. So is a sticky a thread that you want to keep at the attention level for a while by keeping it at the top?

The Dark Powers come in many forms. Let none of them roam free to terrorise the Intelligent Peoples of Middle America and England and other less important places.

Yes, and I believe this is the first stickied thread ever for the BABB. We are part of history in the making!

Heh, yeah, this is a sticky now.

There will be no debate, just my lovely self sticking it to Planet X for three hours. This was the decision of the C2C folks. The date is fine; it's two days from Nancy's deadline, and of course there will still be no sightings of PX, so I can head her off at the pass and ask listeners what they think her excuse will be.

The recent transit of Mercury is a good topic to bring up as well; PX would have perturbed it so much that the timing would be off. I was thinking about Earth-orbiting satellites too; we see no problems with them, including GPS and Iridium satellites whose orbits have to be precisely known.

Any other ideas?

Well...

-There's Cassini that's on its way to Saturn.
-The 2 Pioneers & Voyagers are beyond the planets, but you would think that PX would have purtubed them, since it also comes from beyond Neptune. Yeah, I know space is big, but still...
-About the KBOs, could we detect slight orbital changes from this group of objects?

You can add geosynchronous satellites to that list, as purplekitten points out in this thread. If the Earth were really slowing down, everyone with satellite TV would be having problems by now.

Hello,

You can ask her if there is *any* information she can *imagine* that would change her beliefs regarding the existence and nature of PX, or of communication with the Zetas.

If there is no information of *any* kind that can change her opinions, you can safely conclude that it is now a matter of belief; and that she is not thinking rationally about said beliefs.

This may be of interest to you for your talk BA. David Hall has stumbled onto something ineteresting. see post -Just when you thought it couldn't get any weirder- seems that nancy et al was not the first and there is a cult in Japan which may pre date them all (by a few years) which has been spouting the same noncence. Hmmm........

Phil,

Go forth and kick...butt. Damn family-friendly programming!

Here's one: As I recall in one of the recent threads, someone posted a ZetaImbeciles "timeline" for the final week of the world. It was stated that on May 8th: "...the rotation of the earth would slow and grind to a complete halt in the course of that one day." OK, I'm paraphrasing. Anyone recognize that? I think it's in the thread titled "Are we really certain..."

The mere fact that it IS now May the 8th where I'm at and I'm not noticing any of the effects you'd expect to/imagine you might see if this were true is pretty freakin' telling in and of itself if you ask me!

I can hardly wait 'til May 16 so that I can get back to directing my vitriol and mockery where they're really needed.

Anyway, I'll definately be listening in that evening.

***EDIT/AMENDMENT***
The thread is actually titled "Are we definately sure..." and the 'timeline' appears not to be ZetaImbecile in origing, but Hazlenut...wood... It's on the first page of the thread though and was posted by Jigsaw. Regardless who in the pro-PX camp it originated with, it's still WRONG. Sorry I mis-typed earlier/didn't have my threads right, etc.

I think I remember reading that the rotation would stop (yeah, right) for 3 days, so that mean around May 12th. (i.e., stop 3 days prior to the pole shift, hence we will shake and bake!)

Ooh, handy. Does this mean the holiday I've booked for next week will be a couple of days longer?

Yes exactly, I'm skipping work on the 12th to the 15th and when I come in on Thursday I'll tell my boss it's Monday. :P

May 15 is the date to be in a "safe place", shortly after May 15 we have rotation
stoppage which takes 1 full day to stop, then 7 days of no rotation and then,
BLAM, pole shift (ricter 27 eqs, 3,000 foot title waves, cats and dogs living
together, etc).. So assume stoppage on 5/16, stopped 5/17-5/23 shift on 5/24.
Nancy has been saying around 5/25 as the actual shift date.

Can't wait till 6/1.

Wow, Nancy has made some serious date changes. First you had to be in your safe place at the end of March, the rotation stoppage would be 1 week approx before the shift (today ) and then the shift would occur not far short of either side of the 15th.

Ah. Well, that explains why Nancy won't be debating Phil. If she has any integrity whatsoever, she'll be holed up in her "safe place" by then.

Wel, not quite. The cult has been around since the 70's, it seems, but their PX nonsense is no doubt relatively recent. I don't really doubt their leader got her ideas from Nancy and not the other way around.

She claims that she is in her safe location (that's why she moved from california to
wisconsin (or wherever she is)). I don't know if she has a bomb shelter
built or a trench or such built.

Now there would be an interesting question for her to addresss and even send in a photo. Did Nancy make a shelter? If she is so deep into the service to others thing, did she even consider making a shelter for her family? After all, if she didn't think it would be needed then the truth is there too. She would not even care to do any special thing to protect herself or her family if she did not really believe anything was going to happen. :-?
Look at where she lives and see if she is really into what she talks about.

Ha, judge them by their actions...

Check out skepticalmind.com and there are photos of Nancy and her old turn of the century home. I'm sure she has no intention of holing up anywhere,as Wisconsin, she claims, will be "safe" (How convenient!) It's just like when Edgar Cayce stated Virginia Beach, VA (HIS town) would be "safe" from his failed predictions!
