Show starts, Nancy speaks, Phil speaks, Nancy freaks, C2C tries to moderate, Nancy poofs, show goes to Phil for remaining time. End of transcript.

Yes, I agree.
I may not be able to stay up for the entire show, I'm on the east coast.

You want a transcript of a three hour program?

I don't have the means to provide it, and C2C doesn't do that sort of thing. If someone does get one, though, then I can put it up as a web page.

I'll post this here because it's sticky, I'm planning to record the show for my personal use tonight because I won't be able to stay up to hear it. I'll let everyone know if it comes out well.

Rich

(Reading comprehension problems, this was not sticky, info still applies.)

Default Tech question

Is there a way to save streamed audio as a file on your hard drive?

Thanks in advance

Yes, try sound recording program that will let you record any of the sounds coming into or out of your computer. Ones I have found recently are All Edit, All sound recorder, and Cool Edit 2000. These are just programs I came across while trying to do something similar. Try "sound recording software" (without quotes) in Google. For some reason, I can do this on one of my computers, but can only record sound inputs on the other. Most of these are trial versions with small shareware fees, but the trial should get you through the C2C interview. YMMV.

You guys, for $6.95 become a streamlink member on the C2C site, for that amount you can have it for a month, then cancel it.

Hey I'd give you all my name and password, but I doubt thats allowed, sorry.

But if you do the $6.95 thing, hey, you get perfect NO COMMERCIAL audio of the whole show, on either windows media or real one.

just a thought

I was going to do that, but I really hate those auto-renewal billings on my credit card. All you have to do is contact custome service to cancel but I usually forget for 2 or 3 billings . Anyway, I belive it's going to be on http://www.klif.com/ and I'm going to try to record it. If it works, it will be about 250 meg. I might be able to get that on my web site in a day or two.
