Well the "astronomer" that he forwarded it to is using Nostradamus as a foundation for his science. I think that pretty much throws his credibility out the window.

I think they are fluff.
More fluff ... and from you ... hmmm.

Well, Skywatcher, I'll put it to you this way:

If you believe that planet x is here then the following must be happening:

1. Planet X wouldn't be showing up in fuzzy pictures of a dark sky.
Planet X as described would be as bright as the full moon, plus or minus a few degrees of brightness.
If there is no object in the night sky right now that fits this description, then Planet X isn't here.

2 ... Well, actually, just #1 is enough to disprove Planet X.

Come back when something as described above is visible in the sky.
Although ... if there were such an object out there to look at, you probably wouldn't find anyone in here talking. We would all be outside looking at it because 2. It would be visible all day and all night.

Is it?
I didn't think so.

Scrolling down that page I see:

- photos from someone who can't hold a camera steady
- an interpretation of a SOHO image as ominous when what he's talking about is actually the Pleiades

Default Trolls Away!

You sure sound a lot like someone posting under bmpbmp earlier. Throwing little inuendos like "What do you think of this?" and "What do you think of that?", and posting all kinds of nonsense.

Listen carefully Troll. There is no PX. There has never been and there wont be one in your lifetime or mine.

Sorry, but after seeing all your posts I cant take it anymore. This is coming from someone that usually has a lot a patience. But enough is enough! :x

Under the title, "What the hell is that?" I can tell you what the hell that is. That the hell is some of the worst photography I have ever seen. Go ahead, take a pic with ANY camera, of say, Venus after sunset. But when you do so, jitter the camera as you take the pic. What the hell you will see is Venus beside itself with a funny light string between them. It's not worth mentionning twice.

This Image is a good example of what jittering a camera can do. Look at the top right. that is a single light fixture. Cool huh? :-)

Yeah I typically cover my ears and go "LALALALALALALALA" every time someone brings up the N word

All I saw was something distorted by camera movement. Nothing you can see with the naked eye in space radically changes its appearence from momment to momment.

If the moon was really far away from where it should have been, it would either be on its way out of earth's orbit, or its coming at us and we're all in deep, deep doo-doo. Does he think he'd be the only who would notice?

Darnit, I thought this thread was about hats

As the proud owner of one-half of the entire US supply of Official Todd Young and his Rock Band Mirror Ball Hats, this is a subject which interests me, but it looks like I've been tragically misled by a typo.

But here's a hat-related link which Skywatcher might find helpful:

Skywatcher:

Send the photos to Nancy Leider. she needs some new photos. The only problem you have is she has pulled the plug on her e-mail and doesn't seem to want to talk about the fact that Planet X hasn't showed. I will bet money however, she will stick her head above the hole she crawled into and will put forth an explanation and clear up the whole thing. Of course she will still maintain that Planet X is still on its way but its coordinates have changed but the new date is____. And of course this will all be bought hook, line and sinker by her loyal followers who really hope something bad is going to happen and will grasp on to anything no matter how ridiculous just to stay with this whole theory. Only to wake up one day and realize that 10 years have gone by and now have to do the most scary thing in the world, .......live and do something with their life......

http://zetatalk.com/teams/tteam342.htm

look at these May 19th pix. People taking pictures of clouds, this, and that. And a glowy thing is shown i some pix, but it's on different sides of the sun. Doesn't the sun rise in the same spots everyday? Then why is the glowy thing on both sides, top and bottom? lol....

California preparing to close down the golden gate bridge to major thoroughfare....

This is bull. The GGB, is really nothing more than beautiful art at this point. A bunch of rich people from Marin commute on it. What main thoroughfare? It goes to Sausalito and the Wine Country.

I live in San Fransisco. Why not blow up the Bay Bridge? The SanMateo bridge, the Richmond, the Lombardo ??? That is what millions commute on.

At five bucks a crossing, the GGB is too costly to have many people cross.

There's are some amazing consistencies with all the PX pictures. There all either obvious sundogs or camera flares, fakes, or very fuzzy. Here's a picture of Saturn. Notice how nice and sharp the picture is. I've seen Saturn in my own telescope. My telescope image isn't nearly as good as this picture, but close enough that I know this is a real picture. Also, the source of the picture are scientist (nasa), not people who think they're talking to aliens due to their brain implant or whatever this new group wants to hype.
You have to say 'maybe that little smudge on that picture isn't PX' or you will be forever wondering about it because there will always be people who will provide pictures with smudges and claim they're something fantastic.
After seeing this last set of ludicrous blurs (http://www.newprophecy.net/nibirunews1.htm), I have to wonder if you want to believe in PX a bit more than you want to see the truth. There's curiosity and then there's cultism.

PS: along with real pictures being clearer, real pictures are backed up with locations that other astronomers can use to verify the picture. Objects in space have a predictable path of movement and dont hop around hiding from real astronomers.
