Wow, so are you actually coming around or is this just another trolling adventure for you?

Yea, but I find it more amazing how many people are holding onto the pathetic notion that they are indeed Planet X! I mean, surely they can tell? Can't they? :-? If not, some people are a hopeless case...

'Hoax' is a funny-looking word now. Thanks for reminding me why I stay away from that board.

How come none of those cooks give me a straight answer to my question about why I cannot see this "Planet X" when I go outside?

Those "kooks" don't like questions like that. They'd rather you see some really neat pic taken from a "certain" webcam or other pic that has a phoney planet/dwarf in it. I mean, what's one person's truth is another person's lens flare. It's the Godlike/Zetaloon bread-and-butter. What always cracked me up about that is how they acted like only some webcams could be "trusted"... the ones that took the pics they liked. If the very same webcam didn't repeat the results it's only because a slow-responding US government finally covered it up. I can see some people being duped initially, but I'm not too impressed with the IQ of those that really continue to believe.

While no one can tell you why it is that some folks, and those webcams, can see this anomolous object, while others cannot, neither will anyone one reply to the question:

What is the meaning of the red planet with a tail that is shown on the NASA logo? http://pds.jpl.nasa.gov/

Sure does look like it represents a comet. There is a small body node (department) listed at the bottom.

Wow. So this is what "real scientists" do when they get bored. Trolls-R-Us.

Say... I wonder how long it will take before the "cooks" (Heelman) at GLP will get wind of these threads?

thanx for the laughs, have a nice day,

Well, several of us were in line for summer jobs as Cult Leaders, but those positions were all taken. We were expecting at least 7 openings come May 15/June 1, but it never happened.

It's honest work at least . I mean, we're not killing dogs, destroying public property, or scaring the passionately credulous.

I suppose in a generalizing sort of way you could say that all the GLP folks are guilty of your thinly veiled insinuation.

I'm impressed by your lack of compassion and your apparent superiority complex.

Have a great day!

Now that wasn't a very compassionate reply.

There's no need to get personal. After all, I've never posted at GLP, nor have I cheered-on anyone who has trolled them. I was responding in kind to your post - with its' apparent superiority and lack of compassion toward scientists.

John Jones:

lol, you're right, and I apologize. I now understand your stance, and I was wrong to get offensive.

Thanks for your response.

Have a great day!

No problem.

I certainly don't want any cross-posting wars the likes of which plague Usenet every day - and which ultimately led to Nancy's IRC chat getting DDoS'ed into oblivion.
