How come the Zetas and Nancy were able to get together on right ascension & declination 2 years ago, but couldn't recently on the LG show? The Zetas transmitted the correct info to Nancy's head back then, why not now?

(Actually I think it was Sci-astro that clued Nancy in on coordinates, but at any rate, she and the Zetas knew about the terms long ago.)

Well, sci.astro people tried, but she never got her head round the difference between:

1) Minutes of RA
2) Minutes of Dec
3) Decimal version of 1 (RA)
4) Decimal version of 2 (Dec)

And worse - I've often had the distinct impression that she thinks RA runs in degrees like Declination.

Now, I would never blame any astronomy newbie for getting confused about how we enumerate angular co-ordinate systems (they are confusing, let's face it!), but when it is someone who claims that their information is derived from omniscient aliens... Well.
