Proves what a fraud she is! She's willing to let someone think they've photographed PX when she knows darn well that wasn't a picture of PX.

Except I think that she thinks it is a photo of PX

Honestly I don't know what to think about her. If she really believes pictures like that are PX then she needs to be institutionalized. If she knows its not PX (the direction I lean on this - my opinion) then the way she responds suggests she's a fraud. Either way its not pretty!

She knows all right. #148- the sun isn't up in Antarctica, so that pic has to be several months old at least.

I did that because a couple days earlier I had sent her some images that I took of the sun over a three day period which showed nothing near or occulting the sun.

Her response was:

"Wrong. You are not seeing the forest for the trees."

Of course, one of the images that I sent her is included in the batch of five that I've got on my website (it's the one with the date stamp on it).

I just wanted to see her reaction to the botched image I sent. Of course, I got the reaction I expected. She thinks it's an image of planet X in front of the sun.

Why are you feeding her delusions (or lies?)

You know she will take whatever you send her and post it if it fits her "world view" and that what she does with it is to use it to fool others.

Better not to even bother. I bet 50% or more of the stuff she posts are from people who are trying to trick her with fake facts or photos.

It just feeds her derangement and helps her spread her delusions. Plus, people reading of this kind of stuff (tricking her on purpose) probably will see that as a negative point for this BBS and its members.

(sorry, I am not trying to be mean here. You are not the only one who has done this. Many have, and it starts to worry me)

We don't do that in the US anymore. Unless you're violent or something.

From the link in the zeta citation:

so that depending upon the angle of the viewer or time of day, it can be seen outside of the sunball.
In other words, if you are in China or Texas, you see a different view of the Sun because you are looking at it from a different angle.

But if she believes that the pictures are real that is what she NEEDS ... even if only for a few months to try to assess her problem.

IMO:
I don't think it is wise to try to trip her up like that. Thats why I don't send anything directly to Nancy. Although you have proven to yourself that she is a fraud, you haven't proven anything to her followers. We at the BABB already know that she is full of baloney, so there's no need to prove anything to us...
But the bottom line is that someone might SEE a photo like that and believe it--which could cause harm to come to them.
I think it is pretty obvious that Nancy reads this site, and will be aware of the hoax, but we have no assurances that anyone who thinks that photo is real will ever see your site proving it is wrong.

OK, I'm done.

asimov i agree.

I like to "visit" the meta forums, sometimes you learn something interesting philosophically speaking ( sp?). But, alot of times, they hang to the same dead theories, they leave out the posts that "debunk" their ideas....its a mass of idealists that want attention on their whacked ideals (trying not to be mean, but for example...phobos orbiting earth...c'mon, buy a freaking x-mas scope....you would notice an earthly orbit)

But they like to use what they can for "lighter fluid".....and some people feed off that false knowledge......sad.

even the porps. tell me to mind my business sometimes.

thought that was a good prank....lol I gotta laugh.

Someone should draw a black sphere on white paper and take a close pic of it..and send it in......lol thats what i was expecting.

I agree with the gals here .. we don't need "disinfo" to prove our point. I understand your motivations tmosher (and kinda got a chuckle at the zeta site's gullibility) but disagree with your method. When you think about it, it's a bad reflection of this board. The Zeta-drones refer to us as disinfo-agents as it is, no use making them right for once.

I'm going to defend tmosher here from this angle. It does give us an idea how Nancy responds to people that send pictures. What we've learned is that if there is a picture with nothing that could be misconstrued as PX she will say the person hasn't seen what's obviously there. If she is sent a picture that has something that looks like a PX, then she touts it as evidence that PX is there.

So this is what Nancy is doing to the people that are genuinely scared and do not know PX is a scam. Imagine the scared 15 year old less informed than the young'ins we have on this board that sends one of these pictures to Nancy. She is only going to feed that fear. That is irresponsible.

Now maybe we don't need tmosher's effort to know that, but nonetheless the point is illustrated by what happened.

I did what I did for a couple of reasons. Primarily to prove that she does not understand the optical artifacts and glitches that can occur when photographing an extremely bright subject - more so to prove the limitations of using digital cameras when they are used to image through a telescope's eyepiece.

Secondarily to prove that photography and digital imaging can show all sorts of things - many of which are not real (i.e., lens flares and other optical defects). Which 100% of the images she posts on her site show.

I had originally sent her three images of the sun I took through my telescope with a Baader solar filter to prove that there was nothing occulting the sun (contrary to her claims). Of course, because they did not support her misguided beliefs, she dismissed them as proving nothing. In fact, she basically told me I was wrong.

If you care to look at them, some of the images I sent her are available at: http://www.gbronline.com/tmosher/sun.html

I am, however, going to send her an email on sunday telling her that the image is bogus. It ought to be interesting to see what her reaction is.

That has happened before. She will probably say you have been coerced into telling her it isn't real even though it is. Look up KidA.
