I am not looking for the answer to the universe here--reality is imposed upon by our feeble interpretations of our 5 senses though. But see how we are getting off the topic so fast. I dont wanna discuss things off the topic here. Though I like this type of debate.

No I didnt, the question was so fundamentally flawed that I felt a vote was precluded. In answer to your poll choices.

1. yes it is, so far 4 atoms of it have been created. They decayed really fast.
2. Wrong, see above
3. Bunch of CT poop
4. please!
5. It may well be, never heard of them tho.

You might have gotten one or two more responses if you hadn't made it a public poll, which shows who voted for what.

Furthermore you did not include a check box for those who believe this is a very big load of doo doo, and therefore you are skewing the pole results in favour of your prefered conclusion.

Well I just recently learned that the names were included I thought it would just tabulate the numbers publicly, but I care not.

Well I did not want to be nasty and rude. See that is a difference between some people. The last poll answer was supposed to serve that purpose because this is a family oriented forum as I was warned before posting anything. I do not like being a foul mouth cretin. But if you like feel free to vent yourself as you wish. I care not.

I just want to see where the poll will end at. I am not here to pro or con. So you are typing things into this thread that are not true and now you are skewing the poll.

You are trying to overtake the thread in your con position which is fine, but don't use me to do it. Do it on your own and stand on your own convictions about the subject.

Science is not determined by poll.

I voted "no," because the Bob Lazar antigravity 115 isn't real. Others voted yes because a few atoms of it were created that lasted a very, very short time indeed. Since your poll isn't clear on its definitions, no results that you get from it will be particularly helpful.

"Pro" or "con" what? There is science behind element 115, which does not require a "pro" or "con" position. There are also pseudoscience claims about element 115 that are clearly nonsense.

I am not determining science, I am just trying to find out what people are thinking in regards to the subject. Remember I said con or pro does not matter I know right?

What does that sentence mean? Sorry Rex, english isn't my first language and that sentence does not make sense to me. You know you are right but it doesn't matter if it's pro or con?

Why can there not be a pro or con position I don't follow you on that? I think we are making this harder than it is. Pollsters can vote or not vote it is just that simple. I left the last option for those who could care less or think it is nonsense. This is not hard to do.

Sorry Slang, alot of people are chiming in on here.

I have been at this for awhile--it should say: Remember I said con or pro does not matter. I know right?

"I know right?" Is like saying, I understand you. It is sort of a slang.

Pro or con position on what? There are science and pseudoscience components to this discussion. Which, specifically, are you referring to?

I read the last poll option as "I don't know anything about element 115," not "pseudoscience claims about element 115 are nonsense."

hmmmm...good point. oh darned. I was trying to make this a easy on the eyes poll. Sorry for your dillema.

You won't find out anything about what people are thinking because it is not clear at all what you mean by "viable" and why this should have anything to do with being on our planet or elsewhere. With everyone answering trying to fill in the blanks in the question you can't know what a "yes" or "no" vote actually means.

Because polls are for determining people's opinions, such as, "Who do you think would make a better President - Yogi or Boo-boo?"

They're not for determining the answers to scientific questions which have already been determined through empiracle means. That's like asking, "What do you think the boiling point of water is at sea level? 212, 215, 218, 223?"

I would have to ask, "is that with, or without a wildly thrashing yak in the pot?"

My point is that I can't understand how it will help you. (It might help if you used better grammar; we'd be able to understand what you're saying.) Since we have different perceptions, some of us, as to what "yes" and "no" mean, it means you're going to get people voting one way or the other but meaning the same thing.

I find your response rather odd, yet vaguely familiar in a CT kind of way.

And you didnt answer the question:

What exactly makes element 115 special as opposed to element 114, or element116 or element 1138?

All you have is "cuz Bob Lazar says so" and no other evidence.

Just vote no or yes. Sorry for the grammar mistakes but fielding the same questions over and over is getting a bit wierd. I mean yes preety much means yes and no preety much means no. Or you can just not participate if you find this bothersome or contrite, because the polls is not going to change in any fashion. I know right?

Now as for the poll being public: I did not know the names would be published, and I dont know what that matters anyway because most people are voices their opinions quite well.

In any regards, the overall purpose of the question was see what people think about 115 in general. I have stated this before, now sure there are other things to complain about. But most people really don't have all that time to waste.
Thanks for bringing all this to my attention but I am moving on with the poll regardless.

Feel free to voice whatever you like on here however. Thanks again

Okay I have not discussed anything on here about "cuz Bob Lazar says so" you are bringing this into the topic of discussion over and over again.

Very smart tactic, I am gonna have to look up everything on Bob Lazar now just to finish this? And I have make them special for what? Remember, I am trying to find out what everyone on here knows because that is what I want to learn. That is like me going to Japanese class and trying to teach Japanese and learn it at the same time. Furthermore, I already know that you are trying to get me to take a stance your con side (I may do that.) but I already voted in the I do not know what Element 115 is. Did I not? I am trying to see what the growing consensus is on the subject here on this forum.

I have stated time and time again, this is educational for me now some people are posting there views on the matter just that simple and some will make if matter of congress. It is a natural reaction as people like other people to see how knowledgeable they are, but I am letting people see that I am not that knowledgeable and want to see what they know.

I did not want to hear just proponents speaking up here, I want to know the general baseline sentiment of the minds here whether it be con or pro makes me no difference.

Thanks again.

Viable means in this poll--disregarding the Bob Lazar topic--is it viable other than that for anything of use on this planet? Is it useful, for anything?

I cannot make it plainer.
And in this poll "yes" or "no" mean what they already meant before the poll.

Now a bit of paranoia is gonna abound, nothing can be done for that here on this forum.
No one will call you unless you gave out your number and I am not selling T-shirts!

Notice: Yes and No are up at the top of the poll, so the voter can just disregard the chatter short and sweet!

Rex84, could you take a step back and review what you know- and what you are trying to find out?
Did you place this thread and poll in ATM forum to defend an idea?

Did you seek answers to questions and did not have an idea to defend?

Do you, personally, have any reason to believe that Ununpentium has any practical application in anti-gravity?
