This time of year we don't usually get lines of Chemtrails coming through Ohio, but we get them in the spring and summer. Except we call them thunderstorms and the chemical that are made of is H2O.

Yeah, we argued that if barium and aluminum were being sprayed out the back of airliners, then it would mess up every radar pic on the planet.

The chemmies then proceeded to say that every radar pic with even a semi-straight line on it was showing chemtrails.

That's deadly dihydrogen monoxide, and don't you forget it!!!

Here's one that just about killed me:
They're called floaters! (Well, there's probably a more scientific name, but that's what my optometrist called them.) I see them too (well mine don't vibrate, just drift), they're just blood vessels the eye didn't absorb when it was forming! Gah! I think I lost IQ points reading that list. At least tt-watch has some people on it trying to straighten the others out.

Worst part being, just last week we found out a 1 year old neice has asthma. What was said? "You know, there might just be something to those chemtrails after all." Ignoring the fact that both her parents had childhood asthma!!!

IMO, the chemmies are worse than the PXers when it comes to having any sort of rational debate. It's far easier for them to produce evidence of chemtrails -- they can se them all the time! And the effects are obvious: as soon as they see a trail overhead, they and their families start feeling ill. Discussions of suggestability don't get very far!

One of their favorite theories now is that chemtrails are actually part of the secret plan to modify the weather by reflecting solar energy and reducing global warming. Given that the percentage of the sky ever covered by contrails is infitesimal, we'd better prepare for a long hot summer! #-o

I heard Orgone has the idea of a austrailian ufologist..Apparently they've come to steal it from us, its imissions are dangerous to life and it comes in various colours...Of course none of this would be possible if it weren't for those little mushrooms... :wink:

It gets to 100% here from time to time. Some days all the high cloud is from contrails. But as the proportion of the sky that one person can see from ground level is very small, the total percentage of cloud cover from contrails over the UK may not be high. I had no trouble counting 8 planes in the sky recently on a rare occasion it was clear (not just contrails - cloudy climate).

BTW - the high cloud makes sun dogs more likely doesn't it? Which is getting into Planet X territory

I have NEVER seen more than a few lines at any given time, and the DC area certainly has plenty of local and long-distance air traffic pasing through. I think you must be seeing contrails merging with naturally developing cloud formations.

Perhaps the air here is damper , but we get contrails like this which persist and grow. There was a letter from someone in Glasgow in the July Sky and Telescope saying much the same thing. From this contrail web page, it looks like people should be concerned about their effects, but not because of gobbledegook like orgone energy!

The contrails on the referenced web site certainly seem to be more persistent and diffuse than anything I see here; perhaps the climate is a factor. Maybe some meteorology expert on the Board can comment.

One small quibble: the site refers to contrails as having been with us since the advent of jet aircraft, then talks about contrails during WW2 -- when very few jets existed. Contrails were well known before the advent of jets, as most WW2 movies/newsreels of the U.S./U.K. bombing campaign show.

This whole contrail thing is amazing. Folks will blame anything for their oversmoking, overeating, over everything.
Contrails are the natural occurance from both piston and jet engines at certain altitudes.

Some linger for hours depending on inversion layers or winds or lack of in the upper atmosphere.

Have any of these Yo-Yo's heard of Air travel and schedules that place aircraft in the sky in all directions at different altitudes throughout the day and night?!?!?!? #-o

Oh, and by the way that sundog in the chemtrail that you see over yo-yoville is actually Planet X!!! :^o
