View Full Version : Explain your name
pumpkinpie
30-June-2004, 01:15 AM
Has there ever been a topic where everyone explains their screen names? I don't remember one in the months I've been here. And if there was one in the past, many newbies would have missed the chance to read and post.
Anyway, I'll start (or re-start!)
pumpkinpie was the handle my dad gave me when fiddling with the CB radios, back in the early 80's. My sister was thunderbug. I can't remember any of the rest of the familys' handles. I'll have to ask.
(I'm usually pretty good at grammar, but I just can't come up with the correct use of the plural for family in that case. Does that look right?)
Sorry if this thread gets a little too personal. But to solve that, just don't post if you don't want to reveal! :)
pumpkinpie, over and out.

Staiduk
30-June-2004, 02:31 AM
Staiduk is the name of an alien race I came up with in one of my numerous - and generally pathetic - attempts at writing S-F.
I generally choose it as a handle because no-one else will already have it. ;)

Maksutov
30-June-2004, 03:12 AM
Simple (like me): it was my favorite type of telescope during the 1960s. 8)
Also, when mispronounced, it can be used as a Jewish toast!
When I got my first computer in '95, my friend insisted that I download mIRC and join him in the wonderful world of IRC. I had no idea what to call myself, so I just sort of beat my keyboard. The end result was something resembling ut;ladflaodlkjal;kjdsaflj. Since IRC servers don't allow semi-colons in nicknames, everything after it was dropped. All that was left was "ut"; I capitalized it to make it a proper name.
Don't tell anyone, though ;) Otherwise, all those painfully annoying questions about Unreal Tournament, the University of Texas/Toronto/Toledo/T-whatever, and Utah will dry up, and I might regain my sanity.

MrObvious
30-June-2004, 04:37 AM
I have a tendancy to get so involved in my work or a subject that I seem to constantly miss the obvious things in everyday life. E.g. I came home one night and greeted the better half, grabbed a beer and started watching T.V. to wind down.
Problem: She re-arranged the furniture in the lounge, changed the curtains and bought a new couch that I was sitting on; I somehow missed it all. She asked me if I noticed anything differrent and I said "did you get a haircut, it looks good", she didn't get a haircut and I didn't get much attention for a week.....
After she told the story to her friend I walked into the room, both looked at me and her friend said "well if it isn't MrObvious", both burst out laughing. Of course, true to form, I didn't know what they were on about till they explained it to me. My reaction: Yep, I'll just leave now and get another beer.....

Candy
30-June-2004, 05:30 AM
My first name is Candy. No one ever made fun of my name, until I reached the age of 25. I thought about changing it, but by then I was just to used to it. Just think if my father hadn't stepped into to say 'Candy', my mother's choice was 'Baby Kay'. I believe I was destined for doom from the very beginning. #-o
AZgazer
30-June-2004, 05:53 AM
AZ = Arizona where I had lived for the past 12ish years and rediscovered the night skies.
Gazer = To look steadily, intently, and with fixed attention.
AZgazer = Me stuck in Illinois with clouds blocking the sky it seems like every night. :(
No cool story, just seemed to fit. Plus I assumed it wasn't going to be hard to get, I hate fighting for SNs and such.

Kizarvexis
30-June-2004, 06:46 AM
Mine is based on a dragon from an obscure comic strip in an obscure magazine. The name, originally, is Kizarvexius, but that was too long for AoHe-doublehockeysticks-. So I shortened it to Kizarvexis. I didn't want to be Steve9542384 or something like that. :)

Almost ten years ago when I signed up with Demon Internet, you had to have a unique name of up to 8 letters. I was reading Yeats at the time and considering names when I was walking down the road from our house and a squirrel ran past...
I walked among the seven woods of Coole:
Shan-walla, where a willow bordered pond
Gathers the wild duck from the winter dawn;
Shady Kyle-dortha; sunnier Kyle-na-no,
Where many hundred squirrels are as happy
As though they had been hidden by green boughs
Where old age cannot find them...
W. B. Yeats "The Shadowy Waters, Introductory Lines"
He also wrote a poem called To a Squirrel at Kyle-na-no. 'Kyle-na-no' means "wood of the nuts". And I knew that before I used it :D

Meteora
30-June-2004, 08:37 AM
I wanted a user name that was gender-specific and related to my occupation (meteorologist). I did a few Web searches, but forget now what terms I used, and "Meteora" eventually came up, with references to "goddess of weather." Worked for me.
Okay, now maybe I can change my signature to something better.... :D
ZaphodBeeblebrox
30-June-2004, 08:39 AM
My Favourite Character, in my Favourite Book Series, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy Trilogy.
In Real Life, I'm a lot more like Arthur Dent, however, in My Dreams or when I'm with my Kinda Girlfriend, I'm All Zaphod.
When I can't have that Name, I'm his Ancestor, Zipo Bibrok.
Strangely Enough, sometimes that's Even Taken!
Lycus
30-June-2004, 08:43 AM
When I first started using the Internet, I tried out various names from ancient Greek history and mythology, especially more obscure ones. Lycus is what I settled on, and it's also the name of a character in one of my stories.
MentalAvenger
30-June-2004, 08:44 AM
The origin of MentalAvenger is not as dramatic as it might seem. Long ago, I was trying to sign up on a chat room. I wanted a space-related name, but all the ones I came up with were taken.
Somewhere in there I tried “Avenger” (as in the Avengers John Steed and Emma Peel) and it was, of course, taken. Well, what kind of avenging can you do on the internet anyway? Certainly not physical, only……..Mental!
I use it everywhere now.

(No long story behind it...)
Essan

Essan (or, more correctly Easan or Easain) is the name of a cottage in a remote part of the Scottish Highlands where I stay from time to time.

Thorn Harvestar is a character from the Bone comic books by Jeff Smith. I'd dressed up as Thorn for Halloween a few years back and named my computer that. When I joined a Tolkien messageboard, Thorn was already taken, so I went with Harvestar.
Bawheid

Mine: Wally = dirivative of "waffy"
"waffy" = how I pronounced my name (jeffy) when I was a toddler. lived with "waffy" as my nickname up until my early/mid teens. It kinda didn't fit anymore once I grew up a bit, so one of my friends converted it to wally, which is kinda fitting since my middle name is Walter.

30-June-2004, 02:03 PM
My last name is always mis-spelled as starting "Eis..." unless I spell it out "Iz..." Back in college a friend who heard me do this one too many times started calling me Iyzie, which pretty much only he used, but I liked it. I worried it would be too hard to figure out how to pronounce Iyzie, so I use Eye-Zee.

30-June-2004, 02:22 PM
I didn't put a whole lot of thought into it. I like science fiction. I'm a girl. It kind of rolls off the tongue. Of course, now that people have taken to shortening it to SFC, I feel like a fast food restaurant.

Reminds me of the story of how actor Topher Grace (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0333410/) got that nickname. His real name is Christopher, and he disliked being called Chris. Whenever anyone said his name and stopped at "Chris", he would complete it for them: "-topher." Eventually, that stuck. :)
My screen name, by the way, is just my first name + last initial. Nothing special. :)

30-June-2004, 03:26 PM
Mine comes from one of the Ace Ventura movies. It came out when I was attending an early (5:30 am) church class. Crazy things happen that early. I eventually became the Bumble Bee Tuna, ruler of Jessieland (my real name is Jessica). Like I said, strange things happen.
I also post at Apollohoax under the name of "Spzoid's wife." Hubby uses Spzoid as his screen name for a lot of things and I started using Spzoid's wife when I started playing a game online. I'm not that creative. In case you're wondering, Spzoid = spazoid - a, He had a hard time spelling so his friends just started calling him Spzoid.
Swift
30-June-2004, 04:27 PM
Swift is a nickname I picked up in high school in an honors literature class. Its from Jonathan Swift, because my real first name is Jonathan, spelled as Mr. Swift spelled his (not Johnathan, or Jonathon, etc.) and because I really liked his works. We were assigned to read the first book of Gulliver's Travels, but I read all four just because I liked them. Yahoo!
I'll leave it to others to determine how swift I am or not.
Gullible Jones
30-June-2004, 05:15 PM
"Jones" is a common last name, and the gullibility of the human population is one of the reasons why this board exists. My username is derived directly from the problem that the population faces when confronted by people such as HBers. Note that this isn't meant as an insult: the human brain is, to some extent, hard-wired to sponge up ideas. (This is most notable in youg children, but adults also display it.) Without a finely tuned "baloney detection kit", it isn't hard to get snagged by people like Bart Sibrel.
On the boards I have posted on, BTW, I have very different usernames. You might be able to recognize me, though.
And no, you won't learn my name. :P

It is my middle name and the 3 first letters of my surname. I don't use my first name much, and it contains a letter not in the english alphabet.

30-June-2004, 05:45 PM
I chose my name because I lurked around the original BABB for a long time before I worked up the nerve to start posting. I also chose it because that was before I was treated for my condition and for some reason I thought that it was important that no one should know my real nickname... Go figure...
scottmsg
30-June-2004, 05:56 PM
My name came from my unix account when I was in college. It was supposed to be my first name and the first three letters of my last name. However, the administrators somehow managed to mess it up. It wasn't too suprising though, since the first username I was given wasn't even valid.
After a while, I got used to scottmsg, and have kept it for some BBs and other uses.

Hmm... I see that "Meteora" of "The Christmas Toy" was queen of the asteroids. Not quite what I was aiming for. :-?
Actually, IIRC, the source of the name was from "Meteora: The Unchained Goddess," which is described in an Amazon.com article like this:
"Meteora: The Unchained Goddess" was the fourth film in the Bell Science Series and introduces young viewers to the Goddess of Weather and her companions Wind, Clouds and Rain. This 1956 film, co-directed by Frank Capra and William T. Hurtz, stars Dr. Frank Baxter and horror movie star Richard Carlson ("The Creature From the Black Lagoon").

It's the lesser known cousin of the J/Psi (3096 GeV/c^2). That's the spin 1 state of c/c-bar. Anyway, the eta c played a major role in my dissertation, so it seemed appropriate.

Patrator is latin for "An achiever/accomplisher". I used it as the title of my Curriculum Vitae (Resume) a couple of years ago. Not one single employer asked me about it. I doubt some even noticed it in big, bold letters on the front page.
I'm currently self-employed and doing quite well, so I've no need for a CV but it's such a rarely used word, I've sort of adopted it as a user name/email on various sites. It means I don't have to add a number on the end of it.

01101001
06-July-2004, 07:48 PM
01101001 is largish binary number that is easy for geek friends to remember: hexadecimal 69.
My rare given 3-letter name was taken here, which I run into more and more as the Net grows. I needed a screen name even rarer.
I have the geekish 01101001.com domain (don't bother; nothing there) which will some day host some of my ambigram (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ambigram) hobby. It fits. Ambigrams are words or phrases that can be read more than one way; for instance 01101001 upside-down is 10010110, or 69 upside-down is 69. Oddly, too, 10010110 (hexadecimal 96) is the logical 1's complement of 01101001. Also, 01101001 is ASCII "i" and "i" upside down is "!". There's a whole lot of other connections there that are worth a good page of exposition on the subject of ambigrams.
Later, I discoverd that 01101001 is the begining of the easily generated, infinite Thue-Morse Sequence (http://mathworld.wolfram.com/Thue-MorseSequence.html) that continues on as in my signature. So, all you who tried to decode it and failed, now know. It's pretty cool. Among its properties is that it contains no substring of the form www, where w is any binary string. (E.g., you won't find 000, anywhere in it, or 111, or 101010, or 101101101.)
Enough said.

No... I'm just speaking of the graphical qualities now.
01101001 read upside-down is 10010110.
Independently (and of no relation to 01101001 being hex 69)
69 upside-down is 69.
96 upside-down is 96.
MOM upside-down is WOW.

I've got a number of science-related ambigrams in my portfolio. I have a way of writing Feynman so that upside-down it still reads Feynman (and as I hear it, Feynman's daughter has a copy of it on her office door). I can draw these names with rotational symmetry, so that they can still be read upside-down: Galileo, Newton, Kepler, Einstein, Hawking, MKaku, Turing, Knuth. Oh, I see where I'm not being clear. An ambigram can be read more than one way, but it doesn't have to read the same all ways. "01101001" is ambiguous writing, an ambigram. It is a different well-formed number depending on how you hold the paper it is written on.
Most writing, of course, doesn't have that property. Some, like, "68" (just to pick a different number) or "MOM" pretty much naturally have that property. Some things can be written with often-laborious, clever graphical design so that they are ambigrams.
Personally, I do prefer the special class of rotationally-symmetric ambigrams, so that they do read the same upside down as right side up. But, I have done some with mirror-symmetry, and some asymmetric ones that read entirely different when looked at differently.
OK, I think I need to get off my behind make some of my collection visible. Have a look at these examples of ambigrams, all with rotational symmetry:

When I came onto the web (at that time with AOL) the screen name Frog was taken so I coined the word frogesque to keep the frog theme and sort of tonge in cheek to describe me. (Well, you can have Romanesque, statuesque, Rubenesque etc ....)

It sort of reminds me of a small article Tom Lehrer had in a math journal (sorry, I can't remember where) where he was poking fun at fellow professors and he writes this squiggle on the blackboard (a figure is reproduced in the article). He then explains that it's the word "minimum". Of course the i's aren't dotted, there are no curves (just sharp corners) and thus no clues as to where the letters begin and end. This may be part of the problem with your Feynman ambigram. I do hope that you will take up pen/tablet/mouse/whatever and work on it some more, I like what I have seen so far.

"gritmonger" comes from the title of a short comic I drew- I liked the "monger" suffix from "fishmonger" and "whoremonger" - and I liked the old "Grit" magazine ads that plagued the back pages of countless comic books- so I just made "gritmonger." Frogs are pretty darned cool, IMO, so I can see why you chose that username. :)
Then you have not encountered Whistling Tree Frogs, which can be really annoying. I find myself cursing them every couple of weeks or so when one is near my screen door when I'm trying to sleep!
I provide guests with earplugs to help them sleep as it can take some people a few nights to get used to the constant racket.
They're considered a good thing in Puerto Rico, but I agree they can be loud.

Van Rijn
31-December-2004, 12:32 AM
Mine is based on the popular Poul Anderson character, Nicholas van Rijn. Beyond having some Dutch ancestry (but also English, German, French, and a couple others) I'm almost nothing like the character. I do like the character, though, hence the name.
See, for instance:

George
31-December-2004, 04:28 AM
This was the first BB I was ever on and I wanted something that would intimidate and invoke fear in the reader to offset my lack of scientific knowledge (Edit...and use of grammar/spelling).
The name was popular in the late 50's by an extremely adventureous and curious individual. He accomplished amazing attention-getting feats.
Later, the name was taken by a jungle king who commanded the respect of the wildest of beasts (even some trees).
I had tried to use this name in passwords and such but was always rejected due to its obvious popularity and power. Surprisingly, I tried it here and no one had it.
It may be of some coincidence that it is my given name. :)

Gramma loreto is my favorite reef-dwelling fish (http://www.fishbase.org/Photos/ThumbnailsSummary.cfm?ID=5281), also called the Royal Gramma or the Fairy Basslet...ahem...no wisecracks please. Gramma loreto should not be confused with the imposter Pseudochromis paccagnellae (http://www.fishbase.org/Summary/SpeciesSummary.cfm?ID=12647&genusname=Pseudochromi s&speciesname=paccagnellae)...aka, False Gramma, Royal Dottyback, or Bicolor Pseudochromis.
Hmmm...now that I'm not keeping a reef tank for the foreseeable future, perhaps I should change my name to one of my freshwater charges. How about Melanotaenia lacustris (http://www.fishbase.org/Photos/PicturesSummary.cfm?ID=10497&what=species)?
Cheers...Loreto

Evil_Bomber
11-January-2005, 07:07 AM
I started using mine way back in LAN games of a Quake mod called Team Fortress. I would play as the Demo-Man class, and The Tick was a pretty popular cartoon amongst our group at the time, so I named myself after The Evil Midnight Bomber What Bombs at Midnight. Of course, with a 15 character limit on names, I shortened it to Evil_Bomber or EMB if I was really lazy :) It's stuck with me since then, since it's usually never taken. If it is, I'll usually tack a 42 at the end in referrence to H2G2.
Sadly enough, the :: in my signature is Mayan for 42. I thought it looked like a good way to indent my name a little bit, and I could do it on more formal emails and still have a hidden geeky symbol right in plain sight.

Andromeda321
14-January-2005, 05:28 AM
Way back when in the beginning of the universe (four years ago) I registered for my first internet bulletin board. I chose Andromeda because I liked the galaxy so much and on top of that I loved the mythology behind the name as well (the story with Perseus, Cassiopeia, and the rest of the fall constellations). Andromeda was taken on that BB so I settled for Andromeda321 because it's the reverse of my birthday (1/23). I switched it here and there other places but it's the only one that's seemed right since. :)
Mythbuster #1: despite the fact that some people call me "Rommie" here and there I have yet to actually watch the show Andromeda (where I'm told the nickname originates).
Mythbuster #2: because it's been mentioned the official Pittsburgh International Airport abbreviation is "PIT." But hey, it's abbreviated around the city to "Pgh" rather often.

Halcyon days: from the Greek. 14 days of calm weather, anciently
believed to occur about the winter solstice when the halcyon,
a kind of kingfisher, breeds in a nest floating on the sea.
"There came the Halcyon, whom the sea obeys,
When she her nest upon the water lays" - Shenstone
I change days to daze, because that is how I often feel.
Halcyon is also the name of a star. (DM-49 9653)
btw - Those drones from Silent running are my favorites.
Melusine
30-May-2005, 06:37 AM
Melusine or Melusina (I prefer the e over a) is a mythological story: she was betrayed by her husband who was spurred by another into jealousy, and broke his promise not to look at her on Saturdays, when her "fishy" qualities were revealed while bathing. She was never able to take on a human form again. Melusina is an asteroid. Both fly around and "haunt" people, if you want to consider an asteroid as "haunting" in its possible destruction. Just myth vs reality.

She was never able to take on a human form again. Melusina is an asteroid. Both fly around and "haunt" people, if you want to consider an asteroid as "haunting" in its possible destruction. Just myth vs reality.
It's also a very good Belgian comic about a young, nice (and pretty, I have to admit) witch. Melisande in Dutch, Mélusine in French. Edited by Dupuis (the same original editor of the Smurfs, Lucky Luke, Gaston Lagaffe, ...). I believe there are 12 comic books about her yet.

Normally I hate to bump old threads but I was reminded recently about how I got my moniker. So I searched to see if it was transferred from the BABB.
Well here it is, the explain your name thread, good for a laugh and to get to know people.
Enjoy :D
ranugad
07-September-2005, 05:44 PM
Being a big fan of Tolkien, I tried using Frodo way back in the early 90's.
Never without a huge number afterwrd. Went in search of a lesser known name from LOTR and came up with ranugad.
These were shortenings of Banazîr and Ranugad, originally nicknames, meaning 'halfwise, simple' and 'stay-at-home';
from The Toliken Wiki Community (http://tolkienwiki.org/wiki.cgi?action=browse&id=Samwise__Gamgee&oldid=Sam)
Seemed to fit nicer for me. Especially in contrast to my youth.
The avatar, many may recognize, is from Star Trek.

mark tak...
added the s to the tak a loooooong time ago and it stuck. my real-life nick is taks and has been for over 20 years. it was much easier when there were about a half dozen marks in our group in high school.
apparently, my last name means "shoe maker" in hungarian. though there are less than 100 hits on alltheweb for my name, mostly not even of hungarian origin.
oh, the avatar is lil' taks (john).

Breeze? It was given to me by my motorcycling buddies...
I guess because my presence is as refreshing as a summer breeze.
Now I'll have to read the other posts to find out how you all got your names.

I put it in the welcome thread, but since this got bumped, what the heck.
farmerjumperdon:
I live on a farm, not a commerical enterprise, just for fun. But we do grow an awful lot of stuff - big veggie garden, as much of an orchard as I can care for, and lots of flower beds all over a 3 acre yard. The entire property is 27 acres and does include 5 acres of alfalfa.
I jump, as in skydiving. I actually sold my 10" Meade SCT once I got serious about skydiving, so I could buy all my gear. I have 380 jumps, which makes me an advanced novice. Most of the people I jump with have thousands.
My name is don, always lower case - it's a minimalist thing. Got it from the paternal side of the mating pair that spawned me.

I forget to add:
Monique is my nom de plume :)
kimera
07-September-2005, 08:57 PM
KIMERA is the name of a manga I am rather fond of, although I chose to spell it kimera. It's based on the word chimera, which has many personal meanings for me. For those of you who don't know, in mythology, chimeras were creatures composed of a snake, a goat and a lion. They were so outrageously impossible that chimera became a synonym for outrageous dreams/illusions/fantasies. Futhermore, in biology, a chimera is an individual composed of two or more zygotes. Biological chimeras can lead to very interesting situations such as a true hermaphrodite, something that most people regard as impossible.

I'm not sure what my username means.
Lens flare is a phenomenon of some images produced by optical systems pointed toward bright sources of light. It is caused by the scattering, reflection, and refraction of light in lens systems.
It typically manifests as several starbursts, rings, or circles in a row across the image or view. This will become prominent when pointing a device such as a camera too near a bright source of light..

Hey, thanks for the info. I toyed with "Imaging Glitch", "Motion Blur", and "Compression Artifact", but those didn't have the same ring to them. ;)

Lupin Streetmentioner
That sounds like a Python reference to me... or possibly DiscWorld.
I think I've explained my name somewhere before, but anyway... Bob is a sometime nickname - my real first name's Dylan. (Geddit?) My in-laws call me that. Evil comes from the second Bill & Ted movie - EvilBill and EvilTed were robotic alter egos, you see. My wife put the two together once, and it's kind of stuck.:o
Lianachan
08-September-2005, 12:44 AM
Lianachan is the name of a forest and mountain which were important to me when I was growing up. I've been Lianachan on the internet more or less since the thing became available.
It should actually be spelt "Leanachan" - I had a typo the first time I typed it, and preferred my spelling. I found out a couple of years ago that there's actually a shpooky coincidence about my use of that spelling. Which I can't be bothered explaining.
Selenite

selenite, n. a hypothetical dweller on the moon; a kind of gypsum.
Well....I'm not named after the stuff they make drywall with. First name is Selene so it seemed to fit. :-)
the_shaggy_one

Mine comes from two sources:
My freshman year of high school (back in 1998) someone commented that I looked slightly like Shaggy from Scooby-Doo. The nickname stuck, mostly because I grew a stylish goatee and long, girlish hair, to the point where more people know me as Shaggy than as Matt (which happens to be my given name). However, that's a common enough nickname that it's almost always taken on any board with more than 3 members.
The rest of the story comes from the days (even longer ago) where my friends and I were trying to create a MUD based on the Star Control universe. Each of us chose a name based on one of the alien races from the game. My first choice was the Precursors, an ancient race of hyper-evolved cows that ran the galaxy hundreds of thousands of years ago. One of the other races in the game referred to the Precursors as The Shaggy Ones. Since there's only one of me, I'm just The Shaggy One. Eventually my friends vetoed the use of that name, and I took on another race, evil fungus-creatures called the Mycon. I still use the name MrMycon occasionally.
The underscores in the name are because I blew it the first time I registered for the BABB, and created a password nothing created by man could duplicate.
Seeker of Knowledge
08-September-2005, 02:52 AM
Mine is simple....I like to ask questions. Lots of questions. I also have been known to check out entire shelves of books at the library if I am interested in a subject and need to know about it.
I am extremely uncreative when it comes to internet pseudonyms (I also never use the same one twice). I have several E prefer not to even *think* because they're so ugly. This one, however, is probably the best one ever.

die Nullte
08-September-2005, 06:13 AM
I'm an enthusiast of the music of the Austrian composer Anton Bruckner (1824 - 1896). One of his works, not published in his lifetime, is the so-called Symphony No. 0, often called "Die Nullte" in German. When it came time to sign up for the forum and adopt a nom d'internet, I had just finished listening to this work. If I'd been more alert, I would have capitalized "die." Such is life.

That [Lupin Streetmentioner] sounds like a Python reference to me... or possibly DiscWorld.
You are partly right. The Lupin bit came from Python's Dennis Moore sketch ("Dennis Moore, Dennis Moore, Riding 'cross the land...") in which our Robin Hoodesque hero raids posh people's houses and demands, "Hand over your lupins!"
Dr Dan Streetmentioner was the author of the Time Traveller's Handbook in the third of Douglas Adams' Hitch Hiker books. (At a stretch you could claim that this too is a Python ref because Adams did appear in some episodes of Python.)
When I am watching the third Harry Potter book, or listening to it on tape, whenever Snape addresses Lupin by name, I find I am waiting for him to add "Streetmentioner".
Enzp
08-September-2005, 08:05 AM
Hmmm. I haven't done this one yet. I go by the name Enzo, it's not my given name, it's my stage name. When I registered here I realized later I had entered a typo. So I became Enzp here. I thought, so what, I'll leave it. And if i ever get spam addressed that way, I will know where it came from.
