Today, I woke up, and to my surprise, I couldn't sit down and do anything for 5 minutes, and my whole body was making weird movements... I don't understand. :(

I hope this is just one day...

Was this accompanied by any hallucinations?
(I'm figuring this could have been a hypnagogic/hypnopompic dream... You would want to consult someone with actual medical knowledge on this though.)
But no, that has never happened to me... :o

Me neither---were you standing when it began, or still in bed?

Wait a minute... Your whole body was making wierd movements?
Scratch what I said before. You should talk to your doctor about this, dude.

That douse indeed sound very strange and serious you should see a doctor, and I thought strange things happened to me. Maby something jolted your head in your sleep and knocking of your co-ordination.

You should keep cool. The symptoms can be related to infections, response to drug ingestion, etc. I have searched for some informative material. HereŽs a link. (http://www.wrongdiagnosis.com/sym/movement_symptoms.htm). IŽd recommend a visit to a neurologist.

Brady, need a little more data on what the "wierd movements" were and why you couldn't sit down?
Concur with the rest, if it's not something that has ever happened before, mention it to your parents and get thee to the family doctor.

I don't know what the OP meant, but I've had these moments where I wake up, really confused, walks around and don't know what I'm doing, staring at a clock for a minute without understanding what time it is. Like being super, super drunk or something. I think it is when you somehow wakes up from really deep sleep.

I'd agree with most here: This sounds too extraordinary as just to leave diagnosis and treatment to a BB. Go and see a doctor.
It happened only once in my life that I was disorientated when waking up. I was in hospital after some surgery, it was a few days after the surgery. I woke up at night because the nurse was bending over my bed and checking medication. I woke up and had absolutley no idea where I was or who I am. Totally empty feeling in my head. It was very interesting, but I was also reliefed when after some 20 seconds the good ole brain cranked up and did what it is supposed to do.

If you are concerned go see a doc.
On the other side i have had things like that happen before. I wake up ever now and again and I have unusual twitching in my feet, toes, and legs but that is due to damaged L5 vertebrae and the associated nerve root. Then there is the weird quad contraction jumping from the damaged L4 and associated nerve root which happens more often.....ahhh....car accidents aren't they great?

Brady Yoon. It could be something simple like a nerve trapped while you were sleeping or it could be something more serious. Don't delay - see the quack and get re-assured.

When I was 15, I spent ~30 days in the hospital on my stomach due to a quite deep puncture wound to my left butt cheek (5 inches of bailing hook.) One morning I woke up to some guy touching my nether region. After coming to my senses (and landing a few well-aimed blows, ripping out my IV lines in the process) I realized I had just assaulted one of the residents. To he guys credit, he apologized immediately and correctly stated that he should have woken me first. I had been having trouble sleeping and he was genuinely trying to be accommodating while examining my progress.
