Anyone know of salmon dishes that you can freeze?

Not necessarily salmon, but uncooked fish tastes just fine frozen if you cook it without thawing. Wrap it in tin foil with the butter and spices, then put it right in the oven from the freezer.

Once you thaw it first, it gets mooshy.

Also, I don't think you want to freeze cooked salmon. You want to get it smoked or smoke it yourself if you know how. There are places here where one fishes for salmon to have your salmon smoked and sealed for shipping and/or storing.

I was going to suggest smoking the salmon as well. I don't think preparing it any other way would hold up under freezing, but I've had de-thawed smoked salmon that was fine in both taste and texture.

I think I was about 12 before I realised that a salmon swam in water not in a can!

Seriously, a look in any supermarket freezer will give you an idea for recipes, I have to agree though for me salmon at it's best is fresh from the water or if I'm in the mood, smoked.

Am I correct that you are not looking for recipes to make with frozen salmon, but something you can make with salmon and then freeze that dish.
