Better stock up now:
"...The price of chocolate bars could soar if diseases that have devastated South America's cocoa crops are allowed to spread to other parts of the world... fungal infections are poised to trigger an international shortage of chocolate. Britons...munch through £3.5 billion worth each year..."This does need to be taken seriously."..."

"... violence has shut down Ivory Coast's cocoa exports since Saturday, closing ports that ship 40 percent of the world's raw material for chocolate. The likely result will be higher prices within a month, and then a shortage..."

Having just been working in neighbouring Ghana, which is also a major exporter of cocoa, the people there mentioned a lot of Ghana's cocoa crosses the border into Ivory Coast and then is exported giving a somewhat false value of the total production for Ivory Coast. I suspect due to the unrest, a lot of cocoa will start crossing the other way to Ghana and flow out of the Ghanaian ports. Earlier this year, Ghana reported a significant increase in cocoa production, likely a result of less cocoa going the Ivory Coast.

Or stock up on cacao beans (http://www.smm.org/sln/tf/c/cacao/cacao.html) to make your own chocolate products. :D

I'm still not sure what mechanism you're using to keep it from getting to the freezer and into the belly at a pace that's directly proportional to the amount of chocolate on hand...

Alternatively:

*Pour some liquid honey into a mug
*Add pure lemon juice (aprox equal amount of honey)
*Add ground Cinnamon
*Add hot water from a freshly boild kettle
*Stir and sip / drink when cooled sufficiently to avoid scalding your mouth

It worked for me, and even if it does not work it is a nice drink

Now that's a reason to visit Karlsruhe's sister city... :P
I must check if they look for volunteers for its dismantling :D

One of the principals of Chuao Chocolatier (https://www.chuaochocolatier.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=CC&Category_Co de=GI), tells me today her costs have risen as much as 40% due to the African unrest, despite her sources being in Venezuela.
