I love how the take filters designed for artistic rendering from common photo programs, apply them to people's faces and say they're aliens. It did give me a smile today. The filters are made to provide skewed output graphic design. It just amazes me how they can take an application that they don't understand the background process' of and say, 'Hey he's a duck snake with a prosthetic skin over him.' It's gotta be a joke.

I never knew Find Edges and, um... the Plastic Wrap filter in Photoshop were image enhancement tools. Who knew?

Considering the previous threads linked above, I don't think it's a joke. She's too persistent, and obviously in need of help. But, if I were to write a parody of image "enhancement" quacks I couldn't have done it better myself. So, a tip of the hat to a genius we cannot understand, only behold in awe and disbelief!

I find it amusing how everyone has their own perfected combination of filters (even if it's just sharpening) to bring out image noise to the point where they see just what they want. And then they give it a name after the fact.

Beware the Duck Snakies! The Dog Snakies! The Female Snakies! The Baby Snakies! The Government Bureaucrat Snakies! ...
