Well, if you can read Russian, have a look at the official website

http://www.ras.ru/win/htm/indexeng.html

which claims to have a list of members at

http://www.ras.ru/members.aspx

Unfortunately it generates text in Russian so I haven't a clue what results it comes back with.

Still, there may be a contact e-mail address if you want to send them a query. :)

Some of her stuff has been posted on GLP. My reading is that she is a total paranoid crank, or a scamster, or some combination of both.

I would rate her as slicker and a better writer than Nancy, and I suspect that she is smart enought to NEVER make a testable statement.

I can read Cyrillic phonetically, and I don't see her name there at all.

I'm impressed. :) =D>
(With my complete lack of knowledge, it could have been a 404 message. ;) )

I didn't notice any mention of her being a member of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

It does state that she's an "nternational Researcher and Author" and has "skills in engineering and intelligence analysis". However, no where do I see any mention of her credentials. I can call myself a researcher even though I only has a couple of Associate degrees and a BS.

However, she does like to use the phrase (or something like it) "an unnamed member of the Russian Academy of Sciences" or "a Russian scientist" to lend credibility and authority to whatever she is writing about.

If you bother to research back her claims, you'll find that most times she is stretching the truth or taking an insignificant remark to bolster whatever theory she is trying to prove.

I think it would be "ran" and not "run." The Soviets went out a while ago. :o

What we have here is an example of a popular formula joke at Slashdot ( slashdot.org ) that I think goes back to a Yacov Smirnov joke, "In the Soviet Union, the Party joins you!"

Boris, Natasha and Fearless Leader were from Pottsylvania, not Soviet Union.

Fearless Leader really is a good satire of some of the more despotic communist leaders though. :)
