Coming Soon: Violent Videogames and/or Suggestive themes/dialogue/language!

The point of this is to discuss what games are going to cause lots of trouble in 2005! There are alot of bad ones out there, Namely the Grand Theft Auto series ; It has lots of songs with bad language and in every scene they use big "F" | The worst/best song (depends on what ya like) says big "F" 19x At the end [-X ; What upcoming games do you think will cause trouble?

Top 5:

1. Narc - What parent/democrat (kidding) doesn't like a good game where DRUGS power your character up?
2. GTA: San An - This game was released back in October in america and there was lots of bad things that happened which were thrown at this game, No doubt there WILL be more!
3. Playboy Mansion - A computer game like the Sims which involves sexual themes and women in TIGHT bikini's ; Sure to be bad for us..
4. Kennedy Reloaded - You kill the president! What's worse than that?! Even though I'm all for violent ones this is a bit much. [-X
5. DOOM 3 - This game was even frowned on by SATANISTS! That should tell you something.. Violence and Demons.. Controversy no doubt.

What games will be major players in the campagins against bad games this year in your opinion and why?

One request - if you have to buy these games please don't hassle the shop assistants if they won't sell them to you. They're not just being awkward.

My daughter works in a game shop in the UK and if she sells a game to someone younger than the age rating on it she could end up losing her job, fined or even in prison. I think she has to ask for proof of age. She can only sell age rated games if an adult is with someone who is under age.

BTW, I've never, ever used the 'big "F"' and don't intend to start now, so I won't be going anywhere near them! Apart from the fact I just can't get interested in computer games :)

I was against it at first as a form of censorship, but then I realized it's just like restricting X-rated movies or adult magazines.

I don't see the problem with doom 3. Sure its for mature players, all scary and realistic looking and whatnot, but its pure fantasy violence. There are no demons and if there were we would definitly want a hoard of trained demon killers :)

I was sure Narc was a game where you bust the people who do the drugs. Playing the good guys in the War on Drugs and all. Same game as it was in the 80s.

Yeah if its the same NARC I played as a kid, you played the good guys, and you got bonus points for busting them instead of shooting them.

Yeah, that's why they could go to the moon in 8 years back then, while they'll need 20 years now. Time just goes much faster without them! In fact the 60's lasted 20 years as well!
