Boy, 10 days without the BABB. I almost died.
Europe was good though. I'll post in detail later. For now, just know that I was closer to those of you in Britain than you would think (I flew along a line from Dover to the western-most point of Northern Ireland).
Nice to be able to sleep in my own bed, though.

That's awesome! I'll be doing the Europe thing this summer. I'm going with my girlfriend and her family to Italy (where they are from) and then to Germany, with the possibility of a few other places.

Hey, I was wondering where you disappeared to. I thought that you were so taken by Cyswxman's Barrow Sea station (http://www.gi.alaska.edu/~mahoney/IceStation/BRWCAMimg.jpg) cam, that you took off to the Great White North.
Glad to know you weren't eaten by polar bears and was just seeing some green.

She has family in Worms, so we'd start there. I'd like to get to Heidelberg if possible. Any other suggestions? :D

If you are going to be in Bavaria, Neuschwanstien is a very interesting place. Here are some pictures (http://www.mediaspec.com/castles/schwan/cast.html)
The Heidelberg castle is one of the most famous in the world too. Go there. Here are some pictures of the schloss. (http://www.visit-heidelberg.com/tours/castle.htm)

Don't miss the Hoepfner Castle (http://www.hoepfner.de/downlo/presse/2004/Hoepfner_Burg.jpg) in Karlsruhe.
Never heard of?

Hey, Nothung like a complete Ring performance at Bayreuth (http://www.bayreuth.de/)! The End of the World™ in three main shows and a short (three hour) prelude. It's only 15 hours of getting down with Richard...
However, if you find some armored Mädchen telling you, "Sieh auf mich! Ich bin's, der bald zu Folg'st!", then jump on a train to Österreich mach schnell!
