Personally, I'm interested neither in your forum nor in how many people from here (or anywhere else) join it.
Are you sure there's enough interest from others here to bother to endeavour with your current course of action? My instincts tell me otherwise.

If he tells about his forum with such an aggressive title, he shouldn't be surprised to get aggressive reactions as well. Why should anyone want to go to his site specifically to fight with people of one woo-woo site? We are in debunking, not fighting (or at least I am).

You think that was hostile? Gosh. It certainly wasn't intended to be, and I find it difficult to see it as such even in hindsight. I made a statement about my own level of interest, and speculated about the level of interest on this board generally - that's all.
Also, he wasn't telling us about his forum. All we know about it, from this thread, is that it's a place we can go if we want to argue with the inhabitants of a woo-woo board. Personally, I don't. And I'll wager not many here do.

The 1st line definitely has a hostile tone. There are other ways of saying it that would have indicated a more matter of fact response. It was a bit of an aggressive response considering the tone of the original post and the fact that it was not asking for an approval or opinion.
If you read it out loud, as if it were a conversation between 2 people; the tone of the response definitely does not fit with the spirit of the original post.

In my opinion, it does if you take the subject of the thread (which belongs together with the OP) in consideration. Taking those two together make it sound like 'Hey guys, come over here to beat up some woowoos'.
And posting anything on a discussion board is per definition asking for an opinion, no?

In addition to what Fram says above, I've already said it wasn't intended as hostile and even when re-reading it (yet again) I still can't see it as such. If you choose to interpret it that way then, well, that's up to you.
EDIT - Oh, if Conspiracy Cam (who, incidently, hasn't complained about my tone at all) is keeping his counters above up to date then my instincts seem to have served me well.

Oh come on. You're not going to be big enough to admit the comment wasn't at least a bit snippy? At least one other person saw it and immediately wondered what else might be behind the tone.
Put it this way: Say you are hanging with a few friends, casually chatting and one of them mentions a project they are working on (doesn't matter what it is, could be a car, a website or a sculpture). They mention they'll be exhibiting or showing and will let you know how it goes.
Would the next words out of your mouth really be: Personally, I'm interested neither in your project nor in how many people from here (or anywhere else) use it. Even if you were not interested, that's a pretty inconsiderate style of communication.
Though if my "friend" introduced said website with "wanna fight come here" I'd probably be pretty disposed already against going near it. Or them.

Not necessarily true. More than one person has been banned from this board for making that assumption. It is still your responsibility to be tactful.

Even though i didn't want a fight i got one, though not in the way i expected.
Due to the fact this thing is getting of topic, i'm changing the title to want an argument, just make people happy.

Hi again.
Isn't anyone from this site signing in?
I've got two Crows so far, one going on about apollo hoax, and the other patrot bill (Which i know nothing about, due to i'm british. Finding out about it now) I won't be closing the forum down, no matter what they through at me, i just might need help soon (Due to not anough time in a day dealing with all of the conspiracy and hoax theories)
BTW: Even though more people from the other site are joining, my topic on the crows' site is now filled with posts about cheese?

Hmmm - and yet despite my repeated assertions that I meant no such thing and that people are reading too much into it, it's still perfectly fine to publicly assume I'm lying and I'm clearly up to something? Nah.
And as for cheese - smoked applewood is particularly good, and Lidl's own stilton is surprisingly nice!

I checked out your board and might join once it gets established and I see that it isn't just a flame-pit type of thing. The 2-3 boards I post on now pretty much fills my plate.
