Saw the trailer for this a few days ago and its stunning. This game is going to rock hard. The demo is debuting on Gamespot in less than an hour, and you don't have to be a registered member to download it.

I downloaded it. Probobly wont play it today, but i will during the week.
Speaking of games, right now im kicking butt at GTA: SA.
All i have to say is wow...and wow...and...wow. I have just gotten acess to the second city, and i love the game. I mean the first city sems bigger than all the other cities in the other games. Not to mention the beautiful graphics. :-)
You know they really do earn that "M" rating. I have never heared that much swearing in one game....

Aarrrggggghhhhh.... San Andreas is banned here :(
Trying to find someone coming from the US to get it for me on the way here. A friend is coming on July 2 so I hope he can get it with him.

Ah yes. Been looking forward to BF2 for some time, having played BF42 extensively. So far, I'm quite impressed, and the infantry combat is most enjoyable. The only disappointing thing I've come across is that several of my gaming acquaintances are still on older Nvidia cards (Ti4200/4600) and they're out of luck. The game runs smoothly for me on an older system with the video settings dumbed down a bit, but in order to run it maxed out or close to, you'll need to have a pretty hot machine.
Do note:
- Minimum Specification:
CPU: 1.7 Ghz
RAM: 512 Mb
Video Card: NVidia GeForce FX 5700, ATI Radeon 8500 or ATI Radeon 9500 with 128 Mb of RAM
When they say "minimum," they're not kidding where vid cards are concerned. Nothing below those models is supported.
Our squad will be running a dedicated BF2 server (including demo from now til official release) -- I'll post the particulars in case anyone wants to drop by.

I have more than everything, but the video card. I know ive needed a new card for a long time, guess its time to fess up and go out and purchase one. Maybe next month.
Ive got a Geforce fx 5200. Still good, but not amazing anymore.

I think I borked up my video card somehow. I've gone through about half a dozen different drivers trying to fix up some really crazy glitches, and nothing's taking.
I hope it's my mobo, frankly. It's old and needs to be replaced anyway, so I hope to gods it's my AGP slot. I can't afford another $500 for a new vid card right now.
