You know, I was on a smoke break. I guess I should've put the cigarette down. It makes for a better photo, though. 8)

Hey, these are legitimate photos. I took them myself. Now, if I wanted to pull your leg, then I would post this. http://www.cosgan.de/images/smilie/verschiedene/h040.gif

I have more photos of the UFO's as the sun came up. I think I'll wait until after my mom and I go shopping for groceries to post. :D

The planes were taking off from O'Hare and flying directly over World Head Quarters (Elk Grove Village). They weren't flying as low as they normally do with ceilings. Sometimes, they fly so low - you can almost reach out and touch them. Cool, huh?

I've seen those "flying triangles" here a few times, and later learned, via this board, that they were NOS spy satellites, so that's what I though of when I saw your pics.

These are all different airplanes taking off through out the wee hours of the morning. Toward the end of my shift, they were taking off every 15 minutes of less.

Only time we get jets landing and taking off here is when DIA (Denver) is backed up, so it's a rare sight here.

Please, I'm camera challenged. I was using the camera I bought a year ago. The one I lost the stupid manual after I moved.

Don't you know about the "special equipment" us debunkers have? Mandatory accessory for all amateur astronomers is a filter that blocks out planet X and for photographers a filter that blocks out chemtrails.

They work in reverse of the sunglasses that Roddy Piper wore in They Live (http://www.movietome.com/movietome/servlet/MovieMain/movieid-5738/They_live/)

The second one looks like a flashlight in the dark. You have to tell us what these are, you know. :)

umop ap!sdn
13-June-2005, 07:33 PM
I know. :)

The first one was taken after I discovered that those circular ceiling lamps with the tri-phosphor fluorescent light inside show a second or two of phosphorescence when turned off. It took some careful timing to capture that glow at 2 different levels and combine them into a false color image. That was pasted onto a photo that's just looking out a window at night... there was a lake and some trees, and beyond that a building so that's what all those other lights are. When the pic is enhanced, you can very faintly see the porch swing in the foreground. :)

The second one is unretouched but false color. Anyone who's never played with hooking up LEDs on a breadboard probably won't recognize it. If memory serves me, the bright light is an infrared diode which looks whitish since I did not at the time have filters capable of blocking IR. :D

These pics have been sitting on my hard drive for years - I knew they'd come in handy sometime.

Last week, one followed me around for three hours. It was off to the west as I was driving to the mall, about 3pm. It seemed to match speed, but sometimes dip or climb a little. I couldn't see it very distinctly, as I was driving, and whenever I glanced at it, it seemed to lose focus or definition. I didn't hear any sound.

Until later. It followed me into the mall, staying right over my left shoulder. It kept up a running commentary about the clothes, the food, the people. It seemed to be really confused about chicken nuggets, and I think it was giggling in American Eagle. And it could not get over the breakup of Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston, and mentioned it everytime it saw a girl frowning or a guy with a goofy look on his face. It got to be real tiring, blah, blah, blah, you know. Finally, I went into Chick-fil-A, and it waited out in the hallway. I snuck out the other side. It was mumbling to a mother and her two sons, when I left. I still don't know what it was.
