From where I am, a semi-goodly distance away in Orange County, it had a gentle rolling motion followed by one last more violent roll at the end. Nothing serious out here.

I just talked to my Dad who lives about 60 miles away from the epicenter (in the San Diego area), and he said that he felt it. He said was a slight rolling followed by a "bump".

So I imagine that most of Southern California felt it.

I wasn't sure which thread to put this in, so I'll put it here and link to it in the other. I live in the Palm Springs area and was woken up by quite a jolt, it was pretty scary waking up to it. Surprisingly, nothing broke inside the house, but a lot of stuff was knocked over and or shifted.

Earlier tonight we went outside to go for a bike ride and found some pretty large cracks on the outside structure of the house. Not really huge cracks, probably what you would expect on a 40 year old home...but this is a 4 year old home. I have a feeling they were created during the quake and I hadn't just missed seeing them this past year.

That's about it. We're kind of lucky down here, being built on sand we just kind of shift around and quakes usually cause little damage. :)

I'm sure there may have been some minor ones, but I haven't heard of any after this or any quake here. I don't think the ground here is as saturated as say in LA county, so land slides are a rarity I've not experienced here...yet.
