I do use it, but I've never had speed problems. Then again I use the handy pop3 option, and Outlook is rarely slow for me.

no speed problems here either, unless you have it open for longer than 25min

I've had it open for weeks at a time with firefox with no problems.

my memory usage slowly increases from around 20 to 700+ before firefox crashes lol

I used to have that problem with firefox on pretty much every website. I upgraded to the latest version though and it seems to have cleared up.

latest version doesn't work here, keeps crashing.
