You know, while some of you are getting up and reading this post over your morning coffee, I'm just putting in a post before I lie down to sleep. Strange, isn't it?

Yeah, quite. I am now going to have afternoon breakfast B) , while some people might be soundly sleeping. ^_^
As much as we lead different lives, we are united by our passion for Astronomy. ( I hope.) :)

Its 9:57 P.M in N.Y right now, but for me back home its 07:39 A.M. Anyone figure out where I’m from? I'll help if you need it! :)
I was just reading what BlueWolf027 was writing and I totally agree. Since almost everything we see in the visible universe is really old, who know exactly what it’s like right now. There could be a huge web of alien civilizations, maybe it doesn’t exist anymore. Maybe where we see the outermost stars is really a huge black hole… and its coming our way.
What if a black hole is really life of some sort? Like a huge feeder. Like one of those sea creatures that eat everything, but filter out what they don’t want?
You think we’re edible?

It's 3:45 PM in Alberta Canada, and we are finally getting a break from the recent -28C temps because of a chinook. Current temperature is about +8 but winds are gusting to @ 60KPH.
Oh, I think thats GMT +8.

because of a chinook Are you trying to say "because of a Chook?" Because if you are, know you're not far from the truth - according to the butterfly effect, whenever Chook breathes the wind from his breath gains in energy, momentum and size as it approaches Canada. Maybe that's what your chinook was?

Man, I don't know French. I would have tried Sanskrit, but I don't remember what I was taught two years ago.
Oh well, it's quite cold here in mumbai , compared with our usual temperatures. Actually, it's just 12 degrees celcius.

Jao!
Jaya Hanumana, yana guna sagara, jai kapesha tehun loka ujagara,
Rama dutta atulita baladama, Anjani putra pavana suta nama.
Jai, jai, jai hanumana gusaie, kripa carahu gurudeva cunayee.
That's some poor hindi, part of the Hanuman Chalisa, a 40 verse song.

Hi Jimmy, How do you know Hindi and Sankrit? Did you or do you live in India?
Yes sanskrit is a dead language, but it has to be learnt if anyone has to read the original Hindu Scriptures.

Hi Rahul,
Unfortunately I have never been to India, but I hope to one day.
I don't know much Hindi, and even less Sanskrit; but what I do know, I learned from reading books about my Guru, Baba Neem Karoli.
