[FONT=Times][SIZE=7][B] Hey Guys/Gals, I sure could use a T-adapter for my astrophotography project. I currently have the t-ring for my minolta and a remote shutter release (a q on that later). But everywhere I turn no t-mount adapter. Here are the places I've checked. Ritz camera, Sky-Telescope, Meade, Scopetronix, E-scopes...any ideas? ;)
And now #2....My remote shutter (Quanatray) comes with a nice plunger and works great but no adapter to screw onto the shutter of the camera.
Ideas??? what have I missed about that?
My son (13) and I have substituted a video camerea for the 35 for right now and we got an incredibly detailed (albeit a shaky freehand effort) survey of the moon with a 5mm and a 2x Barlow. We also used the 5mm without the Barlow and swapped them out with a 18mm eyepiece.
All in all a great night and its really peaked my sons interest in Astronomy. The abilty to take good 35's is our real goal.
Unfortuantaly, our 'Scope (Meade 4500) isn't electronically gifted and any long duration time elapsed photos which require exact tracking will be a daunting task.
Feel free to respond via email...I'd like to solve as many of these varibles as I can in as quick a time as possible.
