i took my seven, nine and fifteen year old kids with me to lake afton public obsurbatory, out side wichita ks. they have a patio out back for people to use. i had my celestron 76gt and set it up. and a couple of the more experinced people came over and helped us. we seen jupiter. uranus. the w cluster. the dumbell, a couple of doudle stars. the butterfly nebula. and the swan nebula. they were impressed with the optics for a three inch scope. after trying to use it here then going outside of town there is a lot of difference. my kids were impressed with a guys 12 inch scope he had to use a ladder to look thru it. i think i seen more thru mine than him with his.
