i saw a small blurb about a new mini-series based on larry niven's book ringworld is coming out. it didnt mention a network or a date.........anybody have more info?
if u haven't read ringworld then your missing out on my fav sci-fi book ever, by my fav sci-fi writer ever.
niven has a great many excellent books....check em out

I have been looking forward to a series about the Dragonriders of Pern. Seems it is on again off again. Hadn't heard anything about Ringworld.

Are you refering to Ringworld: Children (http://www.tor.com/niven/)?

found out that a 4 part mini-series based on the novel ringworld will be shown on sci-fi channel...no date as of yet.
isferno......ringworld children is the latest novel in the ringworld series.....actually i think niven should stoped at the one book......2nd is ok....now its just turning into a foundation or rama like series...deluted and stale.
but larry if your listening......YOUR STILL THE BEST!
