Perhaps this article (http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&cid=585&ncid=585&e=6&u=/nm/20040721/sc_nm/health_food_dc_1) can give NASA ideas on how to feed astronauts on long distance missions. If only they can figure out a way to filter the urea!

Yuck, I am not sure I could make myself eat it--well, unless I was REALLY hungry!

I surmise that on Mars or the moon one just might find themselves hungry and short of clean water. Recycle, recycle, recycle!
