Has anyone tried the Mozilla Firefox browser yet? I have been using this browser for a while now and it's GREAT; no pop-ups for a loooong time.
It is very exciting to have tons of themes, downloads, etc.

Been using it for over 6 months now. It's fantastic. You'll never go back to the evil empire after you try it.

Same here. Firefox/Mozilla are the only browsers I've been using since they were released.

I need to use IE professionally, but I use FireFox 1.0 at home.
I tried a bunch of themes, and that was cool, but eventually settled on one look, and never change it.

I have been using firefox for months, since version 0.8. In my opinion it really is the best browser out. As a web designer as well its a dream come true- it does what it supposed to, it follows all the html and css standards unlike other browsers I could mention. kashi's right you won't you back to IE afterwards.

I used 0.4 & 0.8. I had some real trouble with 0.9 --- I installed the pinball theme on it, and suddenly it wouldn't work, even after uninstalling it and reinstalling. Those problems are gone, and I like using 1.0 very much.

Yep, Kashi put me on to Firefox around v0.8 too. Never looked back. The "gestures" extension is something I cant live without now. Great stuff. I've only ever had one problem with it. trying to go from v0.9x to v1.0. That was fun. I think the core build was entirely different and some things conflicted. It took a good while to fix that problem. I introduced it to my work place and now it's the standard there. I do find quite a few websites aren't set up for anything other than IE though and have trouble seeing the entire page, etc. Other than that I tell everyone to go the Firefox path. no pop ups, no ads. Peaceful browsing.

I've used Firefox since 0.9, then v1 PR and I got around to downloding v1.0 a couple of days ago. I still use IE for getting stuff from Microsoft Updates as they don't work on Firefox.

Yes thats true you need IE for windows update as IE is the only browser that lets a site install stuff on your computer so easily!
