I caught "The 40 Year-Old Virgin" at an advanced premier on Thursday evening. This is one funny and surprisingly sweet, while equally raunchy, movie. The audience loved it.
"The 40 Year-Old Virgin" is without a doubt the best comedy I've seen in quite some time.

I thought it looked like a funny show, but you can never really tell from the ads. I'm glad you posted. I'll go see it now.

Hi ! dave, the fun is a very essential part of the life and for the better living life the fun is a necessary tool to "live life more easier", hence whereever there is fun that fun and the high level jokes are very much essential while sometime reading/eating/watching drama or tv also, and while jogging and while in morning walk.
i have'nt seen that site but randomly replied to your topic.

Thanks for the review. It so happens I have a date tomorrow and we are going to see a movie.
But I wonder if it would be a good 'first date' movie?
She says she is open to most anything, and suggested seeing 'The Skelton Key'.
I thought that was an encouraging sign because spooky movies are really good for cuddleing, but a romantic comedy just might be equally as good or better.

Dave, are there Jim carray like actors in this movie? Jim carrey is the best one, he compell to anyone for a great laugh.
i have observed one thing in the spectetors of "comedy movie", the spectetors do not care about the popcorns in their hands only they look at the screen constantly and laugh and laugh with the laughing tears into the eyes, they creat a great loud of laugh (in common way) and later they found themselves that their jaws much "fit" to laugh and they continue.

IMO, this is not a good first date movie. When I said raunchy, I meant raunchy. "The 40 Year-Old Virgin" is a very adult comedy.

I would not liken Steve Carrell to Jim Carrey in any way, although they have appeared in a movie together.
There's information on the movie and the cast at http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/40_year_ol...irgin/about.php (http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/40_year_old_virgin/about.php)
