Another example of just how bad the YEC version of creationism can get.

Ken Ham makes some outrightous and false claims about Mars (http://info.answersingenesis.org/aroundtheworld/?p=333)

This makes me very, very angry.

This short aired on radio station across the country.

These explanations would be just as wrong for Mars as it would be for Earth, no? Or am I missing something?

I'm not going to expose myself to creationistic woowoo, so if others can make further comments, that would be great.

They are wrong for Earth and Mars -- obviously.

But maybe I should have stated explicately what my main objection to what Mr. Ham said in this radio spot. He says that scientists are using global flood for Mar where no sign of liquid water beging present exists while dismissing out of hand the Flood on earth where there is so much water. There is so many things wrong with this. The first and foremost problem is that no scientist is even remotely suggesting a global flood for Mars. Everything being suggested for Mars is very much local. This make the entire radio spot completel and total nonsense -- dare I say bull.

I'm not going to expose myself to creationistic woowoo, so if others can make further comments, that would be great.

Please do expose yourself. We need more people to do so. That is one of the reason why we have so much problems with the creationists. People need to expose themselves to what the anti-science people are saying so they can be effective in the counter attack.
