I hate to say it but INXS has blown what remaining credibility they had in the music business with this travesty of a competition.

I saw this last night. I thought the blonde guy was more talented. I cannot believe you guys watched this too.

Maybe INXS didn't want someone too talented.

I think it is more a matter of who they think fits the band better. Pavaroti might be a lot more talented, but he would not fit the rock band very well. On the other hand...
