Let's not jump to conclusions here! I see only conclusive proof that there is no slim intelligent life on mars...

On second sight, there is no slim chance for intelligent life on Mars :D.

Didn't someone have a signature, "Intelligent life on Mars? I'm not even sure there's intelligent life on this planet."?

In a similar vein - from the end of Monty Python's Galaxy Song:

So remember when you're feeling very small and insecure,
how amazingly unlikely was your birth.
And pray that there's intelligent life, somewhere up in space,
cos there's b***** all down here on Earth.

Lol, that photo reminds me of some stretches of highway 80 in Southern Arizona.

I thought the horizon would look smaller on Mars.

Yes. Their budget was cut. So they sent the rover around southern Arizona with a red filter over the lens.

Now they are going to have their budget cut more so New Orleans can be rebuilt.

But they really did go to the moon.

Why would the horizon look smaller?

In case there are any young students reading this, perhaps I should say that we really did send the rover to Mars. I was just joking about Arizona.

Back in the 1950s when I was a kid, many Hollywood movies filmed "Mars surface" and "moon surface" scenes in Arizona, because some Arizona landscape looks a little like Mars and moon landscape.

I used to drive through southern Arizona on the way back East from California and to California from the East, and I always found it funny to see landscape in Arizona and New Mexico that looked like the surface of Mars and the Moon.

The photo explains why there's no life on Mars now. Malnutrition. The red terrain is all that's left of parking lots and drive through lanes full of cars that rusted away long ago.
