(I'm guessing the answer is Yes, seeing as how there are other posts from people working in education.)
I live in the South of England. In June I completed Stage 2 of the 7407, which is a course in teaching in Further Education (i.e. post-compulsory, 16 and older). A month ago I enrolled on the 2 year Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) (The 7407 counts as Year 1, so I'm straight into the second year.) The course counts as flexible/distance learning - it's run by Greenwich University, but my contact is in my local college (Havant).
Anyway, if anyone is in a similar situation, I'd be very pleased to exchange thoughts and ideas. Some aspects of the PGCE are very confusing, but I've got a feeling that the work won't be all that hard once I'm past those barriers of confusion.
