Newton (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Isaac_Newton#Newton.27s_legacy) also invented the cat flap (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cat_flap). This was said to be done so that he wouldn't have to disrupt his optical experiments, conducted in a darkened room, to let his cat in or out. Calculus, gravitation, cat-flaps! Is there no end to this man's genius?
