One of the fallacies about patterns is there's only one logical sequence. Something like 4 2 5 3 6 would continue as 4 7 5 8 6 etc., but that's not the only conclusion, as the initial pattern may preclude repetition. We just don't know.

i haven't dug into either eroica's puzzle, nor genebujold's answer to check, so please don't think i'm making assumptions about either case i've mentioned above. i'm simply agreeing that more than one logical answer exists for some patterns.

maybe when i actually leave work i'll check... ugh.

But the amusing part is that while all the other stops are numbered streets (2nd, 5th, 8th, and so forth), the missing stop is Milbourne, not a number at all.
