We, uh, don't call those suspenders in the UK. Suspenders here are something......well, different, that I'll wager you probably don't wear.

I work in the aerospace industry. "Both" would be the correct answer. And keep your hand hooked in your waistband, just in case.

Neither. I'll have to start wearing belts soon though, if the "wide and husky" trend with jeans continues.

I think it is a belt, but I can't see it from here.
I always heard that suspenders held up your socks, while braces held up your pants. Even though everyone calls them suspenders.

Make sure you have them way up. And don't forget the sweater vests and the wingtip oxfords.

Belt for me - but where's the poll?Ditto.
For someone of obviously pollish heredity, the bumble puppy seems to have a knack for posting polls without polls. If you're going to run it up the pole and see who salutes, you need a poll. Otherwise this no poll thing can be quite taxing and should be kept in the vault. Perhaps it's the result of a bipollar disorder?
Meanwhile time to polish off some kielbasa... http://www.cosgan.de/images/smilie/nahrung/e065.gif

Don't be a brat, Mak, that is the wurst. BBP is a cool cat, but not always a poll cat.
(Sorry, that one stunk.)
