The Christmas Morning Occultation of Spica (http://skyandtelescope.com/observing/objects/occultations/article_1620_1.asp)
...on the morning of Christmas Day 2005 when kids are getting up to thoughts of presents, the waning crescent Moon will blot out Spica, the brightest star of Virgo.
