Well it's a town house- usally about once a week, but by then it's really messy.

I'm a pet owner. It so much as looks at the ground, the cat hair took it. The counters are a declared pet-free zone, enforced by water-spritzer.*

In the evening: grilled meat and steamed or grilled veggies. At noon, leftover meat sandwiches with veggie toppings. Breakfast, if I bother at all, omlettes and potatos, french toast, oatmeal. That sort of thing.

I'm a good cook, but being a bachelor, I don't have that much incentive to stretch my repertoire.

Neither. I buy DVDs.

* It's funny. The best way to discipline most cats is the spray bottle. Mine is good enough that all I have to do is warn her off her behavior by showing her the bottle, and it's pretty rare that I have to go that far as it is.

That said, my mother tells me she can't bear to see me show the spray bottle at the cat. So I tease her by saying that not only is it the most humane punishment possible for an animal, it works so well I intend to use it when I have kids. :D Even though she knows I'm fully joking, that claim winds her right up every single time I say it. :lol: I'm a bad, bad man.

I'm divorced. Do I count? I'm also 31. When I was a real bachelor these answers would have been very different.

Clean your apartment? - Some cleaning has to be done every weekend, but it's on a rotating schedule. One weekend I'll do the bathrooms. Another weekend I'll mop. My kitchen is visible from the living room so it is cleaned as soon as it gets dirty.

Do the laundry? - I actually have a washer/dryer in the house, so I do loads throughout the week. When I lived in an apartment I would save it up and do it on Tuesday. One thing that I just can't get the hang of is ironing. I'm at the point now that I would just about be willing to marry any woman who would agree to iron my shirts. Thank god for wrinkle-free kakis.

Do you eat in or take out? - I don't like to eat in a restaurant alone.

Do your own cooking? - yep. It's fun.

5 second rule, (when nobody's looking)? - No, I don't eat off the floor.

Mac and cheese, or.......? - yuck! I like pasta, but not mac and cheese. I like making my own sauce. I also like trying different kinds of wine. At least once a week I cook something intricate just for the joy of it. Last week it was a nice lemon chicken dish, and I opened a bottle of Santa Margarita pinot-grigio. It was a very nice, relaxing evening (alone, but still nice). Other times during the week I'll make easy stuff like hamburger helper or shake and bake. That still counts as cooking, right?

Do you rent videos or go out to the theatre? - I don't go to the theatre by myself. If a good movie is out I'll get a friend to go.

Two's company, three's a crowd, and one is........? - I don't know, peaceful? I don't mind being alone. I have lots of good books to read and lots of things to do. I was also really happily married for a while. I guess I'm just happy with whatever I have. It's the desire that makes people unhappy. The life I have, which includes a roof over my head, a warm place to sleep, air conditioning when it's hot outside, TV, internet access, and plenty of food, that life would be paradise for literally billions of people. What kind of an idiot would I have to be to take all this for granted?

Hey, Tofu, for what it's worth, I'm a woman, and I don't iron, either. If it needs to be ironed, I don't wear it, largely because of my special ability to create wrinkles with an iron. (Okay, I do iron a little--I iron seams open when I sew if I'm feeling particularly fussy. However, I don't even always do that.)

Normally, I'm a clean freak. Lately, I've just had no time to do squat.

I will say that I do laundry when I can make a load for whites, colors, and towels. I go through a lot of towels. :think:

I buy food from the grocery store. I usually don't cook, unless I get a hankering for something. I don't go out to eat, unless invited, or I'm traveling. That kills two birds with one stone.

I don't go out to movie theatre's. I haven't in a really long time ~10 years. :think: I don't rent movies, it's time consuming. I do have DirecTV. Occasionally, I'll order a movie via satellite. I can't remember the last time, but it was a porno. I had a boyfriend. :shhh:

I'm usually alone, so I need more company. I have only internet friends and co-workers. :think:

I only spend a couple of nights a week at my place, the rest of the time I am at my girlfriends place so it tends not to get much done to it. When I am not at my Girlfriends I only sleep at the flat, the rest of the time I am in the 'Tap'

Not often enough. I live with two other guys, and I feel about as much impulse to clean up their mess as they feel to clean up mine, I'm sure.

Once a week, unless it's exam time. In that case, whenever I'm looking for an excuse to not study.

Eat in... the restaurant? Depends on what it is. I eat more take out than I'd care to admit to. I always try to change that, but then I always come home to "We're ordering Chinese. What do you want?"

Of course. In fact, I prefer it to the cooking of my roommates, or to takeout/going out.

Depends on what the item is, and where it has fallen. I lean towards no.

Pizza Lasagne. If you get the pre-sliced pepperoni and the ready-to-use lasagne noodles, you can literally just throw the thing together and pop it in the oven.

I'm not much of a movie buff. If it look really good, I'll go to the theatre. If it was, in fact, really good, I'll buy the DVD.

1) Restrooms as needed, usually once a week, vaccuum as needed.
2) Laundry every three to five days
3) Rarely eat out
4) Constantly make my own food
5) Never, I make enough not to have to chase crumbs.
6) Chicken sprinkled with minced onion, garlic powder, celery salt and a little butter microwaved for 15 minutes from frozen in a covered container. Topped with ranch dressing, served hot. Alternatively. Two ramen noodles cooked, pasta strained, then served in Cream of Mushroom soup with the flavor packets cooked in. Good hot or cold.
7) Theater rarely, movies at home even rarer still. MMORPG fanatic, so I'm actively gaming when I'm not busy.
