Just putting it out there, does anyone here frequent discussion boards with a more political bent?
Could anyone recommend perhaps a political discussion board that they've found interesting, informative and worthwhile?

JREF has an active political forum (http://forums.randi.org/forumdisplay.php?f=6).
FWIS (http://loresinger.com/FWIS/index.php) was created by a member of the BABB.
America's Debate (http://www.americasdebate.com/forums/index.php?&) is a very structured political board. Be extra careful to read and understand the rules there before posting.
Perspectives.com (http://perspectives.com/forums/) is a troll-o-rama.
Are you interested in partisan communities?

I don't know of any "mainstream" political forums out there but imagine there's a bunch. If it's like AOL it'll be contentious. Do a google and if you find one .. don some Nomex® before you take the plunge. ;)

The Off-topic (http://forum.physorg.com/index.php?showforum=10) area at PhysOrgForums (http://forum.physorg.com/) gets a little spicey at times, as does even Relativity, Quantum Mechanics, New Theories (http://forum.physorg.com/index.php?showtopic=4418&st=300).

Not particularly interested in partisan communities, as preaching to the converted or banging one's head against a wall is not something I search out.
Thanks for the borads though, will endeavour to check them out.
