Guess you can't tell a book by it's avatar.

No, Carnifex, actually you can't say that here. You need to read the rules, carefully, which you'll find in the FAQ.

ToSeek (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toseek).
ToSeek is a master Googler (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Google), who just made his 14,000th post on the BABB, and can seek out just about anything - hence ToSeek. His sig (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Signature_block) is a reminder of this: "Everything I need to know I learned through Googling" His screen name is a reference to Star Trek (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Star_Trek).
Shouldn't it read "His Avatar is a reference to Star Trek"?

Well (original lewd post scrubbed) you have to have a date, first
I'm not sure they exist up in the mitten.
I have only one date - I named it Connie: July 11, 1961

A co-worker got mad at me, because I was joking with him. I was holding up my hand and pointing to spots asking him, "Are you from here? Or are you from here"? I thought it was so funny.

Gimme a break! Vulcans aren't supposed to be able to lie!
That's what I've always heard. It's true, isn't it?
I forget when I connected "ToSeek" with the Star Trek tagline,
but it was some time ago. My guess is that ToSeek's inspiration
was the opening of 'The Search for Spock'.

the effect of recoil on you depends on your stance, the gun, your size
For instance, most typical guns don't bother me at all... but my wifeoid (18 inches shorter) can get pretty well abused. (and she's almost as good a shot as I am)
Not even .50 cal handguns have much kick for me (10.5 inch wrists)

Handguns depend mostly on the factors: Wrist size, writs strength, height of barrel over trigger, and ammo load
Long guns - it's your height, upper body strength, and ammo load
Jorge
09-February-2006, 09:43 PM
Then i'm doomed... lol i don't have large wrists, there quite small making it more or less easy to reach small cramped spaces (like inside a computere hehe)

just means you'll experience more kick than I would, all other factors being the same. One of the best rapid shooters and snap shots I know is a young lady that weighs in at maybe 95 pounds with her boots on, and wrists the size of my thumb (well, ok, thats's an exaggeration)
