I sometimes have half formed ideas for games but am not convinced enough to start a thread. I though there should be a thread where people could bandy around ideas until they were good enough to be started as their own thread.
Here's an idea I had
A "room 101" thread based on the UK TV show

I don't know "room 101". I'm currently thinking I'd like to see games retired, not have a plethora of new ones formed. If the idea is good enough, though, sure.

How about a game where everyone waits the longest possible time they can before posting?

I think I've started a few games like that.

I originally posted the suggestion of the 'insane forum suggestion thread' because I wasn't sure whether the moderators would like a game like that but then I though what the heck and started the game anyway. Hope you don't mind moderators.

what about a '3 degrees of Kevin Bacon game' thread?
Someone might know better than me how to start one.

Actually I like the idea of the 'Room 101' thread. I'm sure most people have several things they'd like to put in it. I know I do (& Antoniseb could actually put the thread itself in ala Stephen Fry) :)
One of my fave guests from that show was the late great Spike Milligan, I think he put the whole of France in :D

Why would you want to stop the game threads? Is taking a few minutes for a bit of fun really so painful for you?

Why? And if your about to say "Because it's a load on the server"...that's irrelevant because that's a problem anyways be it now or short term future. Frankly the forum is serious enough already, any more and we'll be craping diamonds for Gods sake:rolleyes:. All the games are neatly tucked away already for the people who want to play them...and if anything that benefits the forum by giving people a place to vent and stretch their legs a bit, especially since we practically aren't allowed to do anything but stay on topic 24-7 anyways. I'm rather disappointed that you've suggest this, as it would only add to the problems.

First player names a politician and thereafter the players take turns naming a worse politician than the previous player. Last player banned is the winner.

to be fair to Antoniseb, this thread is 6months old. Perhaps I shouldn't have bumped it.

I hadn't realized this was a bumped thread, but what I say still stands.
